Great sounding patches and video. Thanks! I'd add Boss GX-100 to your list of gear, by the way. I use HX Stomp in an SY-1000 effects loop. If you create more FX loop patches for HX FX, they would be appreciated.
So I make these patches for me to use. I don’t have an HX FX, so… You can probably use the 10 or so patches that will work on the FX as a jumping off point.
I'm starting out with the HX Stomp XL, which I've been loving so far apart from difficulties to get hot distortion effects, but I've hit a glitch. Every now and then the audio coming out of the pedal distorts and cuts out and then cuts back in while playing, almost like there's a bad connection in there. But it's intermittent, and it's definitely the pedal. I tore out all my cables, checked the violins and speaker, and all of those are fine. If I can't resolve this then the pedal is a brick, as I exclusively play live. Oh yes, this happens even when all the effects on the line are turned off. And also on an empty preset. The guy in the music shop is currently trying it with guitars to try to replicate the problem I demonstrated in the shop, but to no avail. He seems to think it might be an impedance issue. This would be odd as it misbehaves with both my violins. I'm presuming yours is an active pickup? Mine are: Merlin 5 string (like a Zeta but actually sounds like a real violin) - active pickups Violectra 5 string - passive pickups. I primarily bought it for the Violectra, but I can't progress - or buy your presets!! - until this is resolved. Do you have any ideas? Does this happen with other pedals?
Line6's customer service is amazing. Go to their website and open a support ticket. In my experience, they have been more than fair in covering their products when something goes wrong.
Hi Matt, I have the Line6 HX Stomp and the current software is 3.7. I would "assume" your patches would still be compatible, yes? Also have you added any additional patches over the last year? Thanks

Hi Matt. I'll ask here as it isn't covered in the video. You say these patches are for helix or hx. Does this by any chance mean I can run these on my hx effects unit? I'm badly in need of starting again from scratch since the 3.5 update and this would be a good place to begin...
Hi Matt. How do these presets sound with other electric string instruments? I'm currently playing an NS Designs electric upright bass and working on trying to get a wider variety of sounds from it and my Helix. Thanks very much.
