These are the most lucid, clearly expressed and understandable maths presentations I have ever heard. I am watching these for fun and curiosity. Back in college when I was an Honors Mathematics major, I had one professor I considered to be the greatest teacher I had ever seen. This very gifted gentleman has cleared that bar. Thank you for your MathTheBeautiful video channel! This has to be a great asset for aspiring mathematicians & scientists.
I can't overstate how great these linear algebra lectures are. I'm looking forward to refreshing my vector calculus chops next. I haven't checked out the lem.ma site yet because my PC is hosed for the time being and my phone doesn't handle complex and/or interactive browser pages too well, but the PC problem will be resolved soon. My graphics card partially melted as a result of a power surge occurring while playing a graphics-intensive game - lesson learned on importance of surge protectors. Well, I was looking for a good excuse to upgrade anyways. Just wanted to share my appreciation and enthusiasm. I spend a lot of my free time lately watching these, so thanks!
The rule for looking 'toward' three vectors is appealing (and does pick up the right-hand rule.) It seems to require being 'inside' the cone of the vectors at first (i.e. physical 3d) and so not much use with pen and paper. However considering the projection onto a screen, the physical vectors become rays and their labelling '1-2-3' is preserved. Then 'flipping' a vector in space corresponds to being 'outside' the cone, while that vector's ray will be reversed in direction on the screen or page.
