@@mathmanchris666 most of the time I would be in the huddle where nobody could see me - but there was a few times on kickoff when I knew all eyes were on me, but I just couldn't ignore the discomfort 😂
I am the starting week side linebacker, the starting strong side line backer has a bucket and he once sent someone to the hospital on a stretcher because he couldn't move. True story
I had a friend in hs who played rb/mlb who also was on special teams,the dude was 6'5 200+, and on kickoff tracked down the returner down to the 5 yard line and absolutely fucked up the dude and knocked him clean out
OMG SAME. I’m a starting outside linebacker. I’m only 9, but top 10 in my state. I’m the best tackler on my team but also the smallest, so my dad worry’s about me sometimes
From what I’ve seen low sprinters are players who think they good and got all the drip but ain’t do shit Players who don’t go wide but a little bit closer in gets lots of tackles and ints and is the perfect linebacker
Bro you just put me on blast with the wide stance. Mine was pretty normal not that wide it was slightly than shoulder width but i was team cap and i always killed in drills and scrimmage but come game time i would only get a handful of tackles type shit but it was so weird cause people on the team amd coaches knew i was bout that but i always would fuck up something small or the time i got juked in the open feild by a qb right up the middle on a busted play like i always had the worst luck on defense in highschool but at least o was a nice reciever and o line my seinor year
Perfect? Seems like a wide stance would prohibit correct movement especially while reading keys. False steps, being in an uncomfortable position to correct said false step so on. Idk about “perfect”. carry on
First off as a fellow lb we all use one stance but I’m the middle lb I have to do the 1950’s stance but I have my right foot back because if the rb does a flat or bubble route in can explode up and get the pick

I should be a linebacker I was supposed to be the highest team got dissolved and got dropped a team lower and they moved me to line after I finally got out of it and I suck ass at it but am a great LB but during LB I was playing on two injured ankles and they just play the kids who look the coolest or the basic white boys who suck shit and peaked in middle school
