What is the Slop you remember? I'd love to know, also where and when you danced it...since there were regional variations. From what I've found this looks similar to the style being done in NYC mid60's though more toned down.
@@ForrestOutman I knew the slop danced it in the mid sixties also in NYC.There was two lines of standing dancers as in the Stroll.Then couple moved down between the two rows/lines of people.The feet moved one other like in Stroll but the Slop was named by the quality of the feet but paticularly the shoulders slanted, exhausted, seemed the dancers were burned out they almost could collapse drop down on floor.This haphazard form of dance was not rigid but Sloppy therefore called the Slop.
