This was a strongly built building. The steel rebar had it all laced together really well. The operator had to be careful not to tip the crane when it pulled out more weight than it could handle. Interesting video. Thanks.

Learned on a clam in the Army, used an Iron Cross in a quarry and a drag bucket all over the place. FINE operator there.

nice. Best way to demo. I had a HC238a Link belt. Loved it. Fast friction crane.

That's some very strong reinforcement. How do you deal with rebar like that once you've pulled it free?

hydraulic winches on these newer cranes much easier to operate. I ran pure friction ones..

I hope the building was nothing historical, each time we knock down an old building we lose a little more of our ancestry and culture that came before us, and the older buildings tend to be more ornamental then today.

+manga12 I know what you mean. I like seeing more historical building still standing than newer construction, but sometimes it has to come down. This building however was not that old, looks it was built in the 70s or 80s.

This building was a load of old crap just industrial premises junk which needs to be smashed up and removed!

Running a drag cable out to the ball is so much more efficient so much beter control
