Link BOOMERANG Combo Guide (Smash Ultimate)

I absolutely LOVE that return rang to usmash combo. You can trap opponents with just that setup by holding shield in jab range. If they go for a jab, free usmash. Grab? Free usmash. Hold shield? Free grab. The only consistent way to beat it is to grab->instant throw to get s.

Can link even break shield? All his aerials will poke before they break and his smash attack do nothing to shield except fsmash and be real, ur not getting fsmash Ed if yk ur shield is small enough to break

I’ve recently started talking smash a little more seriously and I main link, and I use the controls you showed your video about a year ago, but I was wondering is using y for grab optimal for link? Maybe it’s cause I used y for jump and I forget that a lot and end up air dodging off stage and SDing lol, or should I just get used to it and spend a lot of time in practice mode? Also how do you fast fall so consistently to pull off these combos, I use a pro controller so I may be at a disadvantage but same with the other question do you recommend just doing it in practice mode till you get it down? Anyway thank you, even if I don’t know how these combos work yet I love watching you pull them off and I love your content😂👍
