Wow, I was literally mind-blown while watching how smooth and easy was it compared to importing through a server. I am going to test it with repeat rosters and labelled data that are used in complicated forms.

It makes so much sense.Kobotoolbox tabular data is rather complicated to work or search item. However,the merit of using kobotoolbox table to store data is that it can take unlimited records,buh google drive storage is limited. Thank you so much for this tutorial

Thanks a lot, the new version of ODK is not supporting google drive, could please support with work around, and also if using kobo collect instead of ODK

Hi! KoboCollect is exactly the same app with different logo so not to worry about the app you're using! Can you give me some more insight - why don't you want to use KoboToolbox as a server? That would help!

Hi Janna. Your video has been very useful. thanks so much. however, I have a little difficulty connecting to my google drive. What url, username and password do I use? I used the url that links to the xml file in the google drive and also entered my gmail username (firstname surname) and password. but it doesn't work. what am i doing wrong. anyone at all can help. thank you

The main problem is that this approach is no longer supported. Are you able to use the Kobotoolbox server?

wow! this is great!! But I am using ENKETO rather than "odk collect" or "kobo collect". Can I use this feature in ENKETO also. Thanks for your nice video.

I don't believe this works with ENKETO but with a colleague we created a tool that can do that using appscript and some minor configurations of the google sheets triggers

Hi! I hope I've understood this correctly, but if you mean to see pictures in ODK Collect (in your form), then yes, it's the same. If you're looking at taking/collecting pictures, yes, you can also do in both. Basically, anything you can do in ODK Collect, you can also do in KoboCollect :)

Hi! What has been your workflow so far? how do you and why do you use Google Drive? That might help us brainstorm some alternatives! Is there a reason why using the server like KoboToolbox or ODK Central isn't preferable?

Hi there! KoboToolbox is free for the majority of users, unless you have something like 5GB of storage or more than 10000 submissions per month. Is your expected use-case higher than this?

@@mazenmansour5455 Okay - do you have fairly high data management capacity on your team? Would you consider using something like ODK and self-host your own server? check this out: docs.getodk.org/central-install/

Thank you for your support in the beginning, but if there was a server with a large free storage space, it would be useful in the area where I work. Because the humanitarian situation is bad and there is a severe shortage of founding ..
