I've been waiting 23 years for a solid metal cover of this song, now I can wake up the Wind Fish and get off this island

A kickass cover of already kickass theme. "Amazing as always" doesn't do this one credit. This has always been a standout track among all Zelda titles, and the creators knew it. The original was this super-midi bleep bloop gameboy affair and it is still one of the most energetic, charged, and triumphant songs the franchise has ever produced. They put a remix of this in Smash Brothers for crying out loud. Rich always brings out the best, and in this there was so much greatest to begin with. We're lucky to have him.

I used to just wander around this area to listen to the music when I was a kid.

Candidate for my favourite tune in Zelda soundtrack history.

I love how LA is mainstream again! So good.

I grew up with Link's Awakening, and have always been in love with Tal Tal Heights... When I saw that there was a remake of Link's Awakening, first of all I was extremely happy and filled with nostalgia, and very hyped, but then what I wanted most to see (or hear in this case) in the remake was how they would remake Tal Tal Heights (and the shoplifting part tbh, really wanted to see that shopkeepers laser in hd), and then a few months later when the game came out, I completely forgot about it, but like, two days ago, I randomly thought about Tal Tal Heights and I was like "Oh fuck the game is out I need to listen to the remake", and I really wasn't disappointed, the remake sounds so good, but stayed true to the original, and kept an 8bit vibe during some parts, and I absolutely love it, they did an amazing job at modernising this awesome theme... And all this to say that I am very very happy to see this theme getting some love, even on this channel, with an awesome cover/remix/however you wanna call it, that sounds very very good ! Good job !

I still think this is the best Zelda theme in the whole franchise, followed by Dragon Roost Island. But if the LA remake nailed it with one of the songs it's definitely the Mask Dungeon theme, holy moly.
