Good machine, at the dredging company I retired from we had a 2800 track long stick and a 3400 and 240 long stick set up with anfib pontoon tracks. Worked great but you need to watch your bucket load when reaching out, can get a little tipsy. I had a few interesting moments when picking up some gray clay. Phil
@@Thesongstaysthesame; If ya ' want a laugh , go check out his video from 2011 of him using a machine with John Deere controls. I felt so bad for him but laughed my ass off too . He is by far the smoothest operator I've ever seen but he's human too !!
Also with a rake it would just fall off the sides, its all attached together. Its like grass without the soil, all parts are attached to each other. The bucket sides are pointed cutting through it so you to remove it.
I'm surprised with the growing problem of this invasive species growth on water ways becoming more and more of a problem that someone hasn't built a sifter and thumb twice as wide as that bucket to make the process easier and less stirring of the water.
we struggle with that crap all over our waters here in N/W Louisiana. That bucket needs some holes in it. Have you ever tried to agitate the water with a bucket? That would be cool to see how many waves you could whip up.
I can tell you right now that if they have vocational schools where you live and you take one class tak heavy equipment you will love it im taking it right now in high school
Eddie Anderson to keep from dumping water all over the top and causing everything to become muddy. He has a second machine with a thumb grabbing the material and loading it into a truck.
