I cried like a baby while driving and listening to Battle Symphony. I guess your battle was too hard to fight. I've been watching all interviews I can find with you and LP and I realise what an amazing person you were. RIP Chester
Same here . I was a LP fan . But I didn't know how much of a beautifull person , AND soul Chester had . I'm going through a hard hard time these days , AND I am drawn to Chester and his struggles. I pray he is in a better place 🙏 he and Kurt Cobain touched my heart like no one else could . God bless all that are struggling in life , just remember it's just a moment in time !!! And If its bad enough , go get some help ,!!! I wish I could of helped Chester, I feel I missed my calling in life , to save him from himself , ty Chester for giving me the strength to carry on ❤!!!! you opened up alot of people to the mental health of our world , and in your legacy we will get the help we need !!!. RIP Chester !!!
1:47 Wow. You can seriously feel how honored Chester is there. He is really such a deep guy and really knows what these things mean to people. It's so nice hearing him say that you know... well because I did hand him a letter once saying nearly the exact same thing back in 2010, and well... yeah :) Now I feel really happy that he mentions this... I'm actually crying :) Yep I know I'm really obsessive to be crying out of happiness but you know, LP just means a lot to me.
He really does like papercut even after all these years. Miss him and linkin park a lot. And it seems that they always had the same response from the public every time they released a new album.
Sandra Tina Yap I was thinking the same thing but it's probably because of how generic the questions were . Mike looks like he was ready to take a nap haha.
I wish I could give him a letter and thank him for all the help he gave me, letting him know how much he had helped me, and how much he means to me. It's a long story, but I can relate to Chester's story. It's quite similar. I really don't know how miserable I'd be right now if he hadn't been there for me.
Yeah man, same here. Wish I could tell both of them, but especially and absolutely Chester how much he and his music means to me and it's impact on me in my life
did u know LP is the only band doing different genres. and every genre that they did was on the top ranks of music charts. that's why I keep saying LP members are genius.
Another plus for RU-vid. Parents wonder about artists. Funny our generation artist had a reputation different than today's artist. It does not take long to see these artists are intellects. Very impressive.
Yeah look at Chester in some stuff he does look like he struggling his eyes 😔 and he has done so much work for others. But other stuff he so happy but in that just not know. yeah only band I seen in years that give so much to fans
i admire and respect them too much..!!! they are inspiring and seriously i feel that each and every song they release will somehow remind me some aspects of my life.. either the aspects are good or bad..!!! ;)
they are just a part of my life that won't go out ,the first time I heard "breaking the habit " i just wanted to cry cuz I know how hard Chester struggled recording it
now I understand why they are so sick with this kind of question in their latest album because "the fans" has been bitching about it everytime their new stuff comes out. chill people and enjoy their works and talents.
I love these guys, their music changed millions of lives , glad he knew what their music meant to people .If anything good can come of such a tragedy it got people talking about things we were too ashamed to talk about and that can save lives . RIP chester. I love listening to mike talk he was so cute with longer hair two amazing artists .
lol I just can't imagine One Step Closer as a country song. LMAO the bridge "SHUT UP WHEN I'M TALKING TO YOU! SHUT UP! (x 4) " Just imagine some dude sitting on a chair with a banjo yowling XD XD XD Love you Linkin Park!
Mi chester y mi Mike ambos mi dúo perfecto siempre serán los mejores aunque chester ya no está con nosotros igual vivirá x siempre en los corazones de un fan verdadero de Linkin Park.
Ive been listening to LP for 7 or 8 years now and I love both their new and older stuff. If someone is a fan, they support whatever direction the band goes in. Especially with their newest album now Living Things, they went back to the roots of their sound and it sounds much more like a mash of the first few albums coupled with Minutes to Midnight and Thousand Suns. If you've ever been to a show or watched them live on RU-vid, you'll notice the band still sings their old stuff quite frequently.
in a way i can very much respect Mikes/the bands answer for number 1, but at the same time i view that path is also in a way a "cop-out". Instead of making new music that was also in the same league as the first 2 albums to entertain the same original fanbase, they jumped to completely different sounds just to branch out & make new fans all together leaving all of us that supported LP's original stuff & helped them get where they are today shaking our heads.
