@@reillybrandle5763 bruhhh.. here's a tip.... Practice all day normal singing & work out ur vocal chords... & At night before sleeping practice vocal fry.. at night the fry chords are active... When the fry chords r active you'll be able to easily pull off sub harmonics technique.... Then practice scales & stuff... & Be well hydrated & don't let the vocal chords to dry out. . & if anything hurts or feels uncomfortable.. just stop & try next day... Don't do it more than 30 min - 1hr
@@reillybrandle5763 If you're ruining your vocal chords you're doing something VERY WRONG. Because the throat singing is done using the false chord section of the throat by widening your throat and allowing air to freely pass through rattling your chords gently to create a reverberation in the back of your throat which is then projected by the shape of your lips and tongue.
@@reillybrandle5763 There is also very high pitched throst singing as well. I believe it's called Kuamae, Or something along those lines. If you type in "Throat singing" You will find 3 very different Chinese styles of the discipline.
@@brokentombot never in my life i tried to explain a joke on youtube, but basically he's referring to how mongols pretty much almost conquered the whole world but despite all of that a mongolian let's say the singer in this case couldn't conquer the heart of the girl he loves so he's throat singing a linkin park song ( this is a terrible explanation and i apologize )
This is so awesome!!! I may be a 61 year old woman, but I have been a HUGE fan of Linkin Park for over 10 years and have every one of their CD’s. I was so heart broken when Chester committed suicide. I also love your music and the throat singing. What a great combination. Chester would be honored. Thank you so much for sharing your music with the world. 🙏🏼❤️
If you like linkin park listen here at RU-vid Alex MacMillan LP covers.. He is very talented and sweet voice like Chester.. And he produce his own music but the channel is different Razor red noise Peace
This slaps. The deep, guttural sound of Mongol throat-singing suits the song's dark and emotionally-heavy subject matter. It makes me want to hear more covers of rock and metal songs with the vocals re-done in that style.
@@Grey_Ape59 nah, it was rather "Kurwa, Mongolians. Again" And fun fact - kind of throat singing was used by our ancestors too, mostly by kind of shamans and soothsayers, way before Poland converted into christianity.
I can't claim to understand who Chester was like as a person, but I like to think he'd have enjoyed hearing this cover. I hope he'd be glad that someone on the other side of the world was so affected by Linkin Park that they went to the effort of making such a radical reinterpretation of the song "Numb." The Tyva Republic isn't a well-known locale outside of Russia, but it says something about the emotional resonance of LP's music that someone in such a remote place would be inspired by them to this degree.
@@Just_your_average_degenerate I'm from the balkans and our people will fight over anything that's ever been invented by anyone, ever. Fire for example was discovered by a Serbian man drinking vodka and the first man to step on the moon was Uilliami Krahstrongu, an Albanian. The Balkans are the secret leaders of the universe as we know it, I'd try to explain it to you but the mind of mortals is too delicate to comprehend the shere Hyper Power of the balkans
I wish Chester could've seen this. This goes hard. Beyond hard. You can feel the history of the singing technique blended with this agony expressed in the lyrics to create this masterpiece. Excellent.
@ Who are you to know this? You realize that people will see you as an absolute tool if you try to convince them with a strong opinion about topics that you can not possibly know about? Sometimes it is smarter to just shut up and wait for things ti come... Have a nice weekend.
@@melikootje the hell you mean? just because someone doesn't know something it doesn't make them uncivilized a scumbag unintelligent or something, you're the problem here i'd say, with all due respect, i'm ashamed that we share the same name.
@@ZenfulHaze first, its just sarcasm, so let it be.. And overall, never said theyre unintelligent, but instead, uncivilised. Those two words have two very different meanings!
Чел, ты супер. Пожалуйста, начни делать подобные каверы с горловым пением. Ты просто сломал мои стереотипы о данном стиле пения. Это шикарно. Жду новых каверов
Dávid love your comment greetings from Greece, we struggle with our boarders language and culture being taken from us because of imposters who don’t do anything to contribute to our society. We are dying as a group of people because people can’t afford to have children and people come to our country for sanctuary and our corrupt system allows them food and housing and care . Many many Greek people are poor by the world’s standards but they still fight to survive and continue the legacy. Solomon Solomou (Greek: Σολομών Σολωμού; 1970 - 14 August 1996) was a Greek-Cypriot who was shot and killed by a Turkish officer while trying to climb a flagpole in order to remove a Turkish flag from its mast in Cyprus's United Nations Buffer Zone. This man fought as a hero and died like a man for what he believed in. Cheers mate hope we can talk anytime. 😃
@@manga669 Hmm, I heared it a little bit different. Was the corrupt system not the main reason which lead to your econemy crash, because many people don't pay taxes an d the state loosing because of it billions? So Germany and other countrys had to help you with billions of money from the taxmoney of their citizenz? Ok, maybe the rules germany tried to give youm so you can get the money can be disgussed. Also you forgot to say that many of the people who get sanctuary are refugees who fleeing of the war, in Syria, Jemen etc. Also thx, to some countries for that, who deliver weapons etc. Oh and one of the refugee, from another time was Giannis Antetokumpo an his brother, where 3 or 4 playing now in the NBA. Professoers also say, because of your corruption system you should never got the Euro as currancy or you should never have be host of the football european championship, because it was already seeable back then that you will go crashing as econoemy . All things I think you forgot to mention. Cheers.
Yes, and it’s traditional aspects of culture like displayed in this video that are most vulnerable to being bulldozed by globalized culture. We need to be careful to preserve the true diversity of the world instead of homogenizing everything.
Tell me about it... Traditions getting banned cause the 'new' people don't agree with it.. Woman in shorts ow hell no, fucking hell its Europe (Netherlands or France) they come here and impose there rules we go there we listen to there rules.. Welcome to Europe where we are getting pinned down and aren't allowed to keep our traditions and stuff cause people are now finding it offending.. Soon hole europe is gonna be a Muslim country (no hate, but those bad ones i don't like. They fuck up every thing.)
@@JustAHuman www.discovermagazine.com/the-sciences/1-in-200-men-direct-descendants-of-genghis-khan That's only direct desendants. The majority of people have some Mongolian blood. Also, you could have just googled it for yourself.
@@Jerry4050 If you like it that's you. It's your right if you like it. I said Popeye I was joking around. I'm not saying it sucks. The guy has a great voice. But his throat vocals are not for me. It sounds great until switches to that. But I just found out recently that's the way a lot of asians sing. I've seen and heard of it recently. But personally I'm not into his style throaty delivery. I know that style because I listen a lot metal and rock and I followed linkin park and Chester's stye of singing was beautiful. But you like what want like it's your choice. I don't go by what people say about music movies or performers. Just keep mind my dislike for his throat singing has nothing to do with his Asian background. It's just me I'm into his style of rock vocals. It's just my taste only. Like I said I like what like. I don't care if other people don't like it. It's just personal taste OK.
I think the throat movements for death metal growling/singing are completely different from throat singing, so one person can't produce a note using both techniques at the same time. Well, maybe they can - just start coughing.
Please, look at the map of the world. More than 200 nationalities live in Russia and all Russians. And me too ( i am Mordvin, Hakas). Though you can hardly understand you share and fight. The Russians connect and live together.
As much as I love Linkin Park’s version, this gives me chills in a very different way. The pure throat singing between the choruses sends shivers down my spine.
Nooooo no no I had to pause when the chorus hit bc I was afraid my head was gonna explode. You know how when you get chills or tingles and your scalp does that weird tightening feeling thing? This guy was literally lifting my soul from my body through my head. I wish everyone was into stuff like this, THIS is absolutely phenomenal. Love you!!!
Get into a throat singing rabbit hole again and come across this and suddenly realise I never thought of such a cross over but I suddenly need it in my life. Beautiful work.
Просто мурашки по коже, какое шикарное исполнение! Никогда не думала что горловое пение совместимо с такой музыкой! А получился космос просто!!!! Так держать, вы просто молодец!!!!
@Рамис Карама correction bro, TUVA people are mongolic tribe. turkic are uighurs south of Kazakhstan. Turkic people fled the mongol plateau during ROURAN period. 600-800 AD
@@munkhtsatsralt lol "Correction" my a**! Tuvan language is a Turkic one. This guy's surname means swans in Turkic (kuu "swan", -lar the plural suffix). Modern Tuvans were descended from various early Turkic tribes and Mongolic tribes. The Chinese historical records refer to some obscure nomadic peoples beyond northern Mongolia as subgroups of the Tujue, i.e., Türk. These include such peoples as the Muma Tujue (木馬突厥) [Wooden-horse Türk], the Xianyu Tujue (鮮于突厥) and the Niuti Tujue (牛蹄突厥) [Ox-hoof Türk], who resided to the east of the Yenisei Kyrgyz. According to the Xin Tangshu (217b.6148), the DOUBO (都播) constituted one of the Muma Tujue (wooden-horse Türk) tribes, who "mourn their dead like the Kök Türks do". The name Tuva comes from that exact Turkic tribe. Besides, there are the modern Tuvan tribes named Kyrgys and Uygar. Tuvans speak a Turkic language that has been heavily influenced by Mongolian and Buryat (a Mongolic language of Siberia). In fact, about 35% of the vocabulary and some grammatical features of Tuvan language is Mongolic. Traditional Tuvan culture is basically a mixture of Mongolic culture and South Central Siberian Turkic culture (of Altaians, Khakassians, Shorians). Their traditional costumes, cuisine and folk music are mostly Mongolic. The Rouran were Para-Mongolic and you're very wrong about their history. The Rouran Khaganate was founded in the 3rd century and destroyed in the 6th century. In "600-800 AD", there wasn't any Rouran anymore. The Rouran predated the Kök Türk who overthrew them in the 6th century and conquered their lands. Kök Türks fled Mongolia after the Uyghur (who were also Turkic) destroyed the Kök Türk Khaganate, and Uyghurs fled Mongolia after the Yenisei Kyrgyz (who were Turkic as well) destroyed the Uyghur Khaganate and then the pre-Genghis Mongols conquered the Kyrgyz and pushed them out of Mongolia. There are still Turkic minorities in Mongolia, though. Namely, the Kazakhs of Bayan Ölgii province, the Tuvan-speakers whom the Mongols refer to as Uygar-Uriankhai (meaning the forest Uyghur) and the Dukhas whom the Mongols call Tsataan.
I'm a Mexican woman loving this magestic Numb cover. I love throat singing as well as this song so finding this vide was a gem to me. It is as beautiful as It Is powerful. You made my day!

Stumbled upon your channel through my recommended videos. Huge LP and Mike Shinoda fan since I was 14, I’m now 34. Thoroughly enjoyed your cover. I hope Mike has seen this, I’m sure he’d love it. Much love from Canada 🇨🇦 ✌🏼
He is not mongolian, he is Turkic. Mongols got their culture, religion and language derived from Turkic languages. Even ghengis khan used a turk title Khan.
