Do not know why people always argue if his screams are not on point or even complain he cannot scream like he use to. Age is a factor Screams over time it takes it's toll. He sounds fine to me. But look at the singer from SOAD and the singer from Deftones even Corey Taylor does not sound like he use to. But they all evolved over time. Chester has a hell of a vocal just watch Chester perform at Camp Freddy. And Chester can sing a lot of different styles of music that many singers of today cant do
he did have vocal surgery u cant forget that he shredded his vocals back then and yes from then to now yes this is a way much improvement. chester will never be able to scream like he did back in the early days thats just a fact. but he will always be a god at singing and everyone knos that for sure
in just these past 2 years, is it me or has Chester's vocals gotten a lot better live. Is it strange that i like the live version of this song so much better than studio.
***** That is good to hear, because for a while after minutes to midnight, Chester's voice sounded really rough. Also i am extremely jealous that you have been to their concerts, i have always wanted to go, but they are rarely in my area and i never have the money anyway, Thank you.
Not true at all, but I'll admit that his beginning verse here isn't too great, I think that's because it's passing through some wierd filter or something that doesn't translate as well live as the studio version..he still raps perfectly though.
well, he is an ok-singer, i guess. we have to discuss this again after we have heard roads untraveled and skin to bone. recently he did a pretty good job in iridiscent and burning in the skies.
yeah of course i know this performance. have u ever heard cehsters's performances since then? this is a huge improvement to the performances he did in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010. u cant expect him to scream like he did in 2004 and 2006. the voice just gets worse .
exactly, they think they will always sound the same forever obv he not gonna sound like he use to back then. and yes chester can perform many different styles of music and make it sound godly screaming or not

Sadly, yes, go watch the 2006 qwerty summer slam, then watch this. Huge difference. Half ass fry screams ( He uses false chords for qwerty), notes are off, screams are misplaces or just not there. It hurts my heart thinking about it.
