Hello Fatima, Yes, you can, and there is no difference. Opinions are divided as to which form is better. The same goes for all other pronouns: This is due to me / my being hasty.

It simulates a situation in which as a result of your advance booking, the tickets were sold to you for a lower price while they were cheap because you booked them in advance. We buy them in advance, therefore >> we can get cheap tickets! While the actual situation is You got cheap tickets because you bought them in advance. Because it has the same meaning as two others. Minoo, can I ask you a question? It is connected with negative forms of gerund. For example, we have two sentences: "She didn't come in time" and "We missed the train". Now, can we say (using negative form): "We missed the train, because of her not coming in time" or do we have to use another way of expressing the idea?
The sentence is correct, but awkward. If you can find a real noun to express the same thing, it will be more elegant: We missed the train because of her lateness / lack of punctuality.

How should I decide which word should I use because the same sentence can be express either by cause-words or by effect-words like Everyone buys it because it is reasonably priced or It is reasonably priced. Therefore, everyone buys it. What is the difference?
