I just received mine today. I am using this newer version (Main router is the MR7500) as either a BRIDGE or as a REPEATER in a far distant Family room where the WiFi is sporadic. Happy to read that you are happy with this newer model.
I had to turn off the guest mode because it was frequently disconnecting. So far it’s been perfect though. I’m getting some serious speeds with WiFi 6E devices.
@@_AlteredTech That is good to know, I will check this on mine. I h d planned on using my older EA7500, as the repeater, but after doing a full reset I could not get into the Router at all, it would NOT accept admin/admin. It said wrong PW and after repeated calls with Linksys, it was their opinion that the onboard microcomputer on the 7500 lost the ability to accept admin/admin. This seemed very strange to me, as I have NEVER heard of this ever happening.
