The assembly of LINKUP RJ45 keystone Jacks are pure, simple and easy. Most network professionals install within 1 minute.
This video walk though will help you to get the job done easily and fast.
Use LINKUP Heavy-Duty Die-Cast RJ45 Keystone Jacks to get the best performance out of your network cables, i.e. 40Gbs for Cat8 and 10Gbs for Cat6A.
You can use this for Cat6A, Cat7, & Cat8 LAN cables with 22AWG ~ 26AWG wires. The metal housing provides the most robust construction which works the best for Shielded Foil Twisted Pairs (S/FTP) cables.
This keystone is also reusable. You can use it for today's Cat6, Cat6A, or Cat7 and reuse it when you are ready for Cat8 speed.

2:35 Great information that I did not know. The scheme you use is determined by what the cable is already using based on its twisted structure. I had always been told that you can pick either A or B, but once you pick one, you need to stick with it. Also was always told to just use B because that's the most common. I was never taught that the diagonal arrangement already existing in the cable determines if you use A or B. Great great information!!

@@LINKUPTechnologies I was under the understanding that there is no a or b cable. You could create your own C and D fake standard by using blue as the first pair and brown as the second pair, etc. the diagonal of arrangement totally dependent on the spot you stripped the protective housing. If you don’t like the arrangement you happen to have just strip a few mm more cable down & due to the twisted pairs being double twisted (4 pairs wrapped in foil and underneath the foil in each pair the color/white wire are also twisted. It has been my understanding based on my experience of terminating dozens and dozens of cat 6a and now attempting cat 8 keystone as well as making my own 6a patch cords thst diagonal arrangement is totally random based on where you strip the plastic as well as where you untwist the foiled pairs and remove the foil. I Actually just had that situation occurred where they didn’t untwist completely in favour of the B standard so I just cut back a tiny little bit more of that plastic in foil and voilà perfect B arrangement. Using my scenario of the fake C or D standard would apply as well and that if you twist them and look for that order it will be achieved the same way. I won time did that for shits and giggles and it works completely fine as long as you follow that rule of having the same order on both ends. If you really wanted to get fucky you could map out each individual wire and then scramble them all up as long as the pin matches the rate cable order it doesn’t matter which wire you use. The cat eats standard from my understanding like 6a is entirely based on the tightness of the twists and the shielding. Cat8 must be SFTP if I recall… Correct me if I’m wrong though. Where is cat 6A requires one of those two either shielding or foil and I can’t remember which one I think it’s shielding but then you have cases like mine where I bought shielded and foiled 6a and the only difference that I noticed between it and cat 8 is sickness of the wires. 6a had awg 26 I think. And 8 had awg 24. Then there’s the bastard Red headed, freckle faced illegitimate love child of a cat 8 male and a 6a female which calls itself cat7. My question is other the $20/piece for cat8 keystone and $9/piece for a shielded cat 6a keystone, what is the difference between the two? They both look literally identical other than one says cat8 and the other says cat 6a? Further what if I have a cat 7 run in and terminating them but I can’t seem to find a cat 7 keystone or if I did it was too expensive compared to the fairly inexpensive cat 6a? Would I suffer any loss in performance or would a fluke network tester be able to determine what type of end piece im using ? I can’t see the difference between the two different Keystone packages besides price like I said .. oh and the cat 8 Package includes a little piece of copper shielding with adhesive on the back of it but I have been using a roll of copper shielding with adhesive on it and I bought just because I heard it was a good thing to do and I saw a cat 8 edit and figure take it only help by shielding it. Open the fan I’m still very confused about in pieces and like seem question applies for the RJ 45 plugs I use a cat sexy RJ 45 and I can’t 8 cable so long as I follow the specs and shield it and crimp it properly?

2:28 Wow, this is just beautiful. I don't know why, but that cable and wires look amazing. Probably given that it is CAT8 and the spec is very strict, explains why it looks very well made. Might be that the wires are thicker which in general makes it feel/look more substantial. :-)

For your information, a lot of audiophilers are using our Cat8 for their digital connections, not only for the speed, but also for the quality.

I noticed your color cables going clockwise is orange, blue, brown and green. When I open my cat8 cable, the color cables going clockwise is orange green, brown and blue. Will that make a huge difference in the configuration?
@LINKUPTechnologies
@LINKUPTechnologies 3 года назад
No. You were just looking at the opposite end of the cable. If you check the other end, you will see the color arrangement is identical.

@@LINKUPTechnologies If doing a B configuration, on one side the keystone will line up nicely right - but when you do the other side you will need to cross over the green and blue wires to get them to go where they need to be?.. Basically there is no way to avoid having to move some wires from their natural position when putting a keystone on each end?..

@@Lloyd.B. The newer switches can adopt both straight and cross-over wirings. You can use one end 568A and 568B on the other if your switch is supported. In this case, there is no cross over. For the wires pre-arranged in 568B, if you are terminating it with 568A, you will find both ends crossed. Anyway, we strongly recommend to check the pre-arranged wirings and choose the matching schematic will reduce the near end cross talk.

@@LINKUPTechnologies Thanks. I just finished hooking up 2 keystones in the 568B configuration both ends. The cable is 568B (orange, blue, brown and green) one side and (orange green, brown and blue) on the other. I just wanted to make sure it is normal to have to move a pair of wires out of where they naturally sit in the cable to fit in the keystone; and indeed that is the case.

The cable that I have has a bear copper wire in the center. What should I do with it?
@LINKUPTechnologies
@LINKUPTechnologies 3 года назад
What brand of cable do you have? It could be the drain wire that commonly used on STP cable. You can wrap the copper wire around the jacket like our "shielding wires" in the video and tape it with the copper tape. That should get it properly grounded.

0:53 "the term tool list really means you can perform this job in the field with limited tools" Thought that was a funny statement if taken out of context like this. Meaning, you still need other tools to prepare the cable and wires (Assuming that's what they mean). :-D

When using the term "Tool-less", the "Tool" meaning punch-down tool. The press tool is an option. You don't really need it.

I don't get the use for 6a on cat 8 while it's far more cheaper to switch to cat6a wiring? Their cat8 ports are supposed to be backwards compatible, are they not?

The design of PCB and measurement of Cat6A parameters are very different from Cat8. Please use Cat6A if you are using Cat6A wires. Here is the link of LINKUP's Cat6A keystones: www.amazon.com/dp/B07NQDYH45?ref=myi_title_dp

@@LINKUPTechnologies You're sitting here talking about CAT8 and CAT6A termination on a cat 8 wiring in the video... It's even in your title.
@LINKUPTechnologies

@@DarthSailorMoo It's hard to explain. Simply put, a certified 10G Cat6A patch cord runs faster than a certified 25G/40G Cat8 patch cord in a Cat6A system. Likewise, the Cat8 patch cord runs faster than Cat6A patch cord in a Cat8 system. So, our Cat8 keystone can be used for Cat6A wires, but the performance may not be as good as using our Cat6A keystones with Cat6A wires in a Cat6A system. The termination is the same. That's why this instruction video for. Hope I'm not confusing you.
