Yeah I was watching that game and I’m a little bit of a Bruins fan I have a David Pasternak sweatshirt and that was hard to watch and it sucks even more cause they lost hopefully he does recover soon cause he is playing great
I agree with the second part of your comment 100%. And I'm no bruins fan, but i think he was more caught up in the moment to even realize he was about to jump on his goalie. Game is fast and focus is limited to certain areas of the game. I'm sure buddy feels like shit too now. But that second part of your comment couldn't agree more drives me fucking insane when I see a player push another player into their own goalie.
@@mikem5424 Drives me insane too but you highlighted the reason why it happens. No defenseman wants to run another player into their goalie but as you mentioned, the game is fast and as a dman the focus is more on breaking up the play than thinking about if the hit will cause a collision with the goalie.
@@borafett3005 I would agree a majority of the time that would be the case yes. Especially when racing back to backcheck. But there is a lot of times you could find and be like yea you fucking had to know that was gonna happen. But in this videos case that guy whole focus was trying to keep that puck out and was having an adrenaline dump. Tunnel vision on the puck. All he knows is the goalies down and out the nets open I need to keep this out. All within seconds lol just imagine if he had took the puck to the mouth and landed on the goalie lol
I guess all that's left tonight are three rounds: One between Colorado and Dallas - 18:40 into the third period and TWO fights between Vancouver and Vegas, both in the third
Oh idk, maybe it was pure in-the-moment adrenaline which you have no reason to judge. B’s down by 1 in the 3rd with a chance to keep their record setting game from tarnishing. Defenseman attempts to jump in front of an empty net and trips over the goalie. It happens🤷♂️
Ditto. Glad we're blocking shots, playing like Tasmanian devils - they got to get control last week, might've been the same game- there were two collisions where it was bruin on bruin I will say, I've seen it on a couple of other teams early on this season - but they haven't taken out their own goalies 🙄 At least they're rotating goalies 😁 we better keep Kincaid warmed up
Actually, Linus was the number one goalie last year by far GAA 2.45 sv%.917 Sway - GAA 2.92 sv% .89 You're remembering the playoffs - when Sway got all the home games. Neither goalie won in Carolina It's the loudest of all NHL arenas, they say it's intentional to throw off opponents The controversy came up last year again. (It's a bit ridiculous) Jeremy will not be a starter for another 2 seasons. He's still too young. That's why they brought Linus in as a starter, with a two-year no movement clause in his contract The only reason Jeremy was brought up that early was because of COVID Same with Vladar, who was supposed to be the next starter before Jeremy, he's a bit older Until Rask decided to try to come back Sway man is awesome, I was a Maniac, remember him from U Maine Now I'm on the other side of the continent his family lives about 4 hours from me. Can't wait to see him explode but he's simply not ripe yet He's been saying it in his recent interviews - things like.. "I'm going to make it up, I'm not going to let that happen again, I'm learning.." he's telling us he's got a learning curve yet and he's right Buffalo sabers fans told me about linus, looked at some of his highlights... wow! I was seeing Tim thomas, Jerry cheevers Bruins fans had no idea what goalie Bob found! And you should see Linus's story - he was told by everyone he'd never make it as a goalie in the NHL - he wasn't the type, wasn't a typical swedish goalie... When he got the call from Buffalo sabers, even his mom didn't know what the NHL was! Lol! She must be real proud of her boy now! If he can keep up this style play, without getting hurt - it'll be fun to see what happens when his contract is up in '25. Or if they decide to move him while he still has value to put Jeremy in - Linus is 29, He'll be 32. His late bloomer career is going to be interesting. I could see these two sticking together for another 5- 7 years. Whatever they got going on is working, so I hope it stays together
They blow the play dead pretty quick, but Hellybueck has masked knocked off and potentially hurt but gets nothing. These refs are sooooo inconsistent 😒
He had both hips done, then he was called up by the sabers to play when he probably shouldn't have Now he's with top trainers, medical staff.. do some research. He's already had both hips done - this is finally the result of the recovery because he had a chance to recover with top trainers Fans don't realize when they make comments like these, they're also going after people like goalie Bob who chose to bring this guy in because he saw something and knows things you don't Buffalo sabers fans were more upset at losing Linus than Hart winner Hall. Linus stole games, he was supposed to be a big part of their rebuild I looked up the highlights and was blown away by this guy The same way I was blown away when I witnessed Jerry cheevers, Bobby Orr and Tim Thomas win the last 3 Stanley cups Then I looked up his bio and saw he had double hip surgery - I also saw he was called up a bit early by the sabers because they're goalie was injured Turns out he's a Tom Brady story - the most unlikely NHL goalie to come out of sweden. He was told he'd never make it! When he got the call from the Buffalo organization, his mom didn't even know what the NHL was! All this stuff is out there for any fan to find And most of it's interviews, right out of their own mouths. But it's much easier to watch a 2 minute RU-vid video and trash elite athletes 😃
Naw... First off, have some respect for athletes. The goalie's hurt? That's kinda sick. Take a closer look at playoffs for God's sake 🙄 Nobody's going to get a slap shot in against those goalies Bruins got out run in their crease by Canes last playoffs. Made me want Nick Ritchie back. Bruins were the smaller team
Gotta love how the bruins don't let us forget that most of the team has a combined iq of seven 🤣 feel better soon ullmark, and maybe request a trade somewhere the players know to not jump on people like toddlers play wrestling with a parent
