Long time fan of your linux reviws...hi kaddy!!!!! I am using arch...midfingr's distro...deepin and solus at this time ...ben in El Paso texas...19 years a linux user
The standard for working out the bugs in any major OS release is about one year. Report the bugs and be patient. Mint 18 was a bit buggy at first but ended up being pretty decent.
Perhaps the Linux community is a little faster at working out the bugs in a new(ish) OS release then Microsoft I really wouldn't know. I guess it's a bit mute at this point as the Mint team has just released Mint 19.
There is one minor detail perhaps you've had some experience with. The HD sound in Mint 18.3 works but seems a bit lacking in quality. Would you recommend downloading and using pulse audio are would you have a better recommendation such as a driver pack or something? are should I wait for the mint team to address that with an update? Thanks.
