Merry Christmas! Here’s our 2023 Christmas Village Layout, featuring Lionel Trains, Lemax Carousel and the Lemax Classic Car set. The buildings are mostly from the Mervyn’s Village Square Collection as well as the animated ice skating rink.
The Christmas Village layout is 16 feet long, 4 feet wide on the skinny end and around 10 feet on the wide end. The track is all old school Lionel 027 or O27. We have both 27” and 42” radius curves in the layout.
The locomotive on the outside track is a 1947 Lionel 2025 still running strong and the locomotive on the inside track is a MPC era Lionel 8703 with the Mighty Sound of Steam from the late 70’s I think. I have the sound of steam unplugged in the video because it is annoying, lol. Oh, and the trolley is also from Lionel.
There is also a Lionel operating milk car and operating cattle car that I will be trying to get working at some point in the future, they are just for looks currently.
