I'm beginning to think Ollie just enjoys pissing ppl off and just wants to see how far he can push them until they punch or slap or in some way lose thier temper with him................ he's good at it too
@@fandomking8939 as Oliver says to Lex when Lex says "Like your hands were clean." "Not even close. But since then I've been scrubbing them real hard. Yours just keep getting dirtier."
0:54 Knowing what Lionel did to Oliver's parents now, makes me wonder if the Scotch was a "Sorry for offing your parents." Gift. Seeing how this was right after he started becoming the good guy.
@@lincoln2324 It's mentioned as part of the Veritas storyline. Lionel had their plane sabotaged, I think. He's definitely responsible for their deaths, Virgil Swann's, and the attempt on Mr. Teague's life.
@@glenndallas7171 highly unlikely he had a hand in Swann's death. At the time, he was going through his metaphorical convergence after switching bodies with Clark.
@@fandomking8939 I guess that's another plot hole in this storyline, because it's pretty heavily implied that Lionel wiped out or tried to wipe out every other member of Veritas.
@BeyondEnchantment I wouldn't go that far. I agree that his turn toward the light was really awkward and hard to accept, but he did make efforts to protect both Clark and Martha. However, that doesn't negate the wealth of terrible things he did previously.
I agree completely every word you said above. His "Villainous days" were GLORIOUS & GEORGEOUS. And yes, even he was good he still had it WhySoSerious. He was THE GODFATHER of Smallville. Unfortunately writers clipped him from the show. :((
This was unintentionally hilarious! Every time they think they've one uped each other, they take a few steps forward and then when they can't realistically do that anymore, the camera zooms in instead!
@@kelly3014 Acts 16:30-34 KJV And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? [31] And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. [32] And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house. [33] And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway. [34] And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.
I’m new to Smallville, so I watched a few episodes of Arrow years ago and didn’t care for the Green Arrow character. Smallville changed that for me! This actor killed this roll and made me love Oliver nearly as much as Clark (Superman’s still the best).
Yeah cause Stephen Amell was playing Batman LITE, not Green Arrow. Everything about him was nothing like Green Arrow from the comic books at all. They wanted Justin Hartley to be the star of a spinoff from Green Arrow but he legitimately turned it down cause he felt loyal to the Smallville cast and in his own words "didn't want to make it all about him".
the nerve/stones of lionel to threaten ollie after wasting his parents decades ago. if ollie knew then what he learned in 'Toxic', he would have blown lionel away right then and there.
He should talk about how he was stranded in an Island for 5 years, and how he came back with one goal : To save his city. But for that he must be somebody else, something else ....
