Ah yes, the dreaded Barka mispronunciation. As mentioned, the researchers who write the scripts are not the same people who do the voice-over. We now have (even more) checks and balances and quality control filters to ensure this doesn't happen. Trust us, when the football/soccer fans and writers saw this, they weren't super happy either but as with any media company, errors do happen. We are most concerned with factual errors, but try to avoid mispronunciations, too.
"he is called the flair because he is just that fast" i use to watch this video almost every day back in the days, it's 2023 and i am glad to see this video is still up here.
Messi is far better than Maradona, not only in skill and precision in everything he does, Messi is not a cheat, unlike Maradona who scored with his hand in the world cup vs England. (I'm English so I hold a grudge)
No. A name is a name no matter where you are from. Your failure to pronounce it is no excuse as a professional to learn how. Not that difficult to pronounce Ronaldinho.
As a former resident of Spain & La Liga follower, I FULLY admit that the misprononciation sucks, but I asked around the office to find out what happened: apparently the host pronounced both when she was recording it & during the editing process the wrong prononciation was selected. We realized the instant the clip was published, but considering that the video was being watched & shared, we didn't replace it. Hope you understand, and enjoy the clip; more of these to come. thanks, Ash@WatchMojo
I can see 12 people dislikes the video. most be Gaynaldo fans and Penaldo fans. To the all Ronaldo fans. You knew at Messi is far better than Ronaldo, thats why you say: Ronaldo is better than Messi. Hahahahaha Pathetic fans!
