Messi has become more deadly with age. At a younger age he used to dribble a lot and pick his moments, now that he is a veteran, he has started to use his stationary body to pass more around the pitch creating wonderful oppurtunities and yet at moments he still dribbles and scores.
One year at PSG and he's already got the highlight reel that's better than what most players can hope for in an entire career. The GOAT without a doubt.
@@AK-dh4wo lol am messi fan but considering french league its just a shit ...messi shouldn't have been people here in my country dont even watch french leagues thats why psg cant win a champions league
I have been watching this guy play football for over 10 years now but every single time he touches the ball I feel like it's my first time, he is so smooth, so genuine and elegant in every touch whether it's dribbles passes, or goalscoring. Messi is the Messiah of football.
@@romeno513 Ronaldo El Fenemeno is my all time favorite player and will always be so but I have to admit that Messi is the best player the sport has ever seen
Leo Messi is a complete football player, great exemplar, a pure genius, genuinely humble person, and best of all he's been doing great thanks to people around him, fans who supports him and cheer him up. As a player, he helps all of his teammate and clubs to achieve abundantly. In football success and failure is 50% equaled in chance but look at he and his team stats. Without him and CR7, football will be a whole lot different, so cherish him and enjoy his magician play.
Messi uniqueness is making you wondering how the hell does always different tricks, perfect assists, amazing goals. It's a movie you already watched yet keeps on giving you that new huge smile
he is treated like a he is made from crystal. All atackers are these days,. That is from another level....look at the lsight touches that make him fall. Look at footage of Maradona 9and Pele, who I never saw, got it bad too) and see how he was attackedon the legs again and again and again...
@@Serenoj69 this is the most clueless comment and a dumbass hater who failed at life and got nothing to do than degrading the best player ever of all times lmao… Messi won copa America with harmstring injury and bleeding ankles in semi/final Go watch another sport this one is not for you, Messi gets tackled so many times and sometimes harder than others and he doesn’t even say anything or complains… Try harder because you are a nobody that no one will ever remember lmao
@@Serenoj69 Defense now a days have become more sophisticated than what it was back in the days. More focus on formations, tactical awareness. Role of wing backs have evolved strategically. Defensive midfield role has emerged. Defenders now are much more athletic than ever before. Even then, Messi dominates the entire defensive formation by himself at times. Hacking at player's legs is a coward's way of defending.
@@dragonbane44 While true it is clear from the statistics that in the end it is no match for fouls that were allowed and committed back then. We can see that attackers had a much tougher time from 1978-1992 than from 2006-2022. It is easy to see: from 1978-1992 the average number of goals per match was between 1,8 and 2,3 in the Italian competition, where Maradona played in mostly. Not from 1982-1984, but then in SPanish competition the average was at it highest in 1983/84 with 2,4. Now the SPanish competition from 2006-2021 had an average of 2,6-3.1 goals per game. So that is a clear indication that it is not just MEssi that found the net easier. All attackers do these days. It is very representative since in all instances we are talking about yearly avcerage of 350-400 matches/year. I think anyone who just looks at the matches played than can see why that exactly is. The go fully for your legs or whatever they can kick or grab al,ost constantly with Maradona getting the worst. Even in those times, where fpouls were hardly called it is Maradona who got the most freekicks in favour in 1986. He is the single most fouled person of any WC ever. When you look how he was fouled, you'll note that in spire of the brutallity no one got a red card Not even those who did it more than 3-4 times per match. Unheard of today.
I haven't followed football in probably over a decade, but it's amazing to see the GOAT playing with so much of the brilliance he had earlier in his career.
Impresionante, pareciera un resumen de toda una carrera deportiva en un club, y son solo una temporada y media, Dios que genio, ver sus partidos son un placer, verlo me saca una sonrisa.
I'm following Leo since his debut for barcelona... And i haven't seen a season that he wasn't the best... He might have missed the silverware... But he has been the best since he started... There simply can't be any doubt
He had enough of the Ballon D'or trophy, but for now he is focusing on getting the WORLD CUP TROPHY and I'm strongly believe that this time he will get it and lift it for the first and last world Cup trophy
Messi has been the most skilled and highest IQ player in the world for over a decade now. That's why he will always be effective even tho his athleticism takes a hit with age.
Messi is the best striker to me. His skills and his shot are spectacular and who can ever replace this guy after he has retired. And he's a legend to all even in his bad 😞 moment he came back and proved to be a legend. And he's the reason I am playing football
Football owes Messi a great deal of a favor for what he has done and still doing at this age! I think the direct reason of having such advanced defense systems these days is due to Messi’s visionary threats! more than 15 years passed since he started breaking defenses and yet they can’t quite stop him. Its a dilemma! Leave space and he will punish you with his majestic dribbles / cover the space and he will make artwork of a pass leaving defenders fooled. This is what sets Messi above from ANY footballer who ever touched the ball.
Messi is not just another football player he's is great artist. Instead of brush and paper he draws on the field with football. what a dribbler, scorer and what a legend 🙇♂️🙇♂️🙇♂️🙇♂️🙇♂️
Messi siempre me emociona hasta las lágrimas...Él es todo lo que está bien en el fútbol y en la vida...lo admiro con todo mi corazón, y nacimos el mismo año para colmo...
each and evry messi match is worth watching doesn't matter if he score or not it's filled with beautiful passes, dribble, assist , chance creation, througg balls...... unlike penaldo camping near goal
he is simply genius,he is far away of everybody else. surrounded 2,3,4,5 players and still unbelievable passes or score if he wants 🤷♂️. all eyes on him. he make a every single game special
And he's better than them just make a chance and give Messi the ball in the box man's able to dribble around whole team and put the ball in the back of the net with absolute precision my prayers are with Messi to win the world cup 2022
Just how many goal Mbape scored standing in box and how many beautiful pass from Messi. People knowing little of football just compare goal for greatness of player.
