This match was so difficult for me (a Madrid fan) because the way barca broke Madrid's defense back then was unbelievable. Madrid's defense was really solid back then and they were destroying in the games before that match. Mad props to Barcelona this match. For me Guardiola is if not one of the greatest coaches of all time. He helped Messi become who he is now.

This was the worst excuse of a team i have ever seen. Real Madrid were not only utterly outplayed, but they showed the worst sore loser attitude I have seen in a long time. It was like seeing childern on the pitch, who couldn't take a loss like men. And by displaying their total lack of class, they humilliated themselves a lot more than what Barcelona did to them. A team in shambles, this is what Florentino had set in course with the "galactico" mentality, and with Mourinho it all blew up in their faces. To this day it remains a team full of ego, sick competitiveness and completely lacking team spirit. It is every man for himself. Every new coach and player is portrayed by the madridista media as the new messiah, come to save the team, while in truth they are all just hailmarys, Zidane being the last of them, until he too fails and gets kicked out the back door like so many Real Madrid "heros" before him, like Raul and Casillas. While Florentino remains as president of Real Madrid, they will care more about selling shirts and being in the headlines than actually playing football.

i wonder if this is messi against madrid or barca vs madrid, madrid saw nothing that day.
