Honestly that is what made me support him since his first season at Barca.

Regarding people not seeing Messi as a leader, it's because he's generally a pretty shy person. For years he barely showed emotions on the pitch. He didn't speak much. Barely ever did interviews. He left the talking to other teammates on and off the pitch. But as time went on and his former captains retired, he became the natural captain, and some people just can't really imagine him in that role. But during the 2022 World Cup, he really showed what a leader he is.

Man, months go on and i'm still crying everytime i see something related to this world cup.. i think I've never experienced that moment of happiness in my life, to see all those people celebrating was incredible. We have lot of problems here in Arg, but during that month we all forgot about that and just enjoyed every single day.. imagine that Christmas was coming and NOBODY had planned anything for that day.. we were just enjoying life and being the happiest. I’ve watched all WC finals from 1990 onwards and this one was definitely the best one. It had everything, goals, comebacks, drama and penalties.
