I'm glad to hear he's still here, and sad to know he health failing, but as we grow older our bodies start to fail us. Mr. Richie has lived a full life. He's one of my idols and I love all his music. Keep living Mr. Richie, I believe you still have a lot to offer the world.🙏
I love everything about Richie, I sometimes cry out of no where just because I know I won't be able to meet him in my entire life 😭😭😭💔💔 God bless him more and more for me

Lionel Ritchie - Of all the lovely songs you have sang, composed and performed the most memorable to me is " Jesus is Love ", this work of the heart says it all. Thank you. Jesus is Love

I have been long time fan since 1970 of Lionel Richie starting when he was with the Commodores, which you didn't touch much on. I think your including altercation between 1st wife & his famous mistress Ms Alexander is tasteless. I did enjoy interview, gave you thumbs up
I.have to say this on his behalf.the past is in the past let a sleeping dog lie for heaven sakes.it never ceases to amaze.me why people are like 🐕 dogs digging up bones of things in the past. We are long.time fans we know all.that we really don't care.we love him.just the same.we all have those old boney skeletons in those old closets. Let's leave them there.
A gentleman who has been so inspirational to me and the 🌎 world. He came from Alabama. Like I was born in Birmingham Alabama as well. Thank God now I in Illinois.
The COMMOD0RES meant everything to me I never meant them but they were apart of my family threw music every damn day the commodores music could be heard in my mother's house drove her crazy and the neighbors .I had every commodore album machine gun 74 threw in the pocket 81 lionels last record with the commodores damn that was the time of my life.
I have to clarify that "Lionel Richie" was his first solo album released in 1982, in which you find the song "Truly" and "Can't Slow Down" was released the following year in 1983. Thx
The Commodores made me love this music genre in the early 80s and I m still a huge fan. I still have their album/cd In The Pocket which will never leave my house until I m no more. What a life journey.
The story leaves out a lot of his earlier struggles as a front man with the Commodores...The breakthrough song was instrumental, which was very popular with R&B artist of that Era. The entitled "Machine Gun became the catalyst for his rise to stardom
What do you mean by the sad ending of Lionel Richie? We all have to grow old, it’s inevitable. That being said, he’s done well for himself, he’s made money and hasn’t lost to scammers, he didn’t have children all over the place and I’ve never heard of him doing drugs. So what’s so sad about his life. He probably doesn’t have a wife, so what? Someday those who are married will lose their spouse to death or some bimbo.
So much of him I just found out about him. I love listening and learning about him . Been a fan since a young girl. You go lionel 👍👌🫶🫶✌️❤😊 looking forward to the day we meet my friend ❤️ ❤🥰
For salvation, we just need to follow the way they did it in Acts? They were baptized in water for the removal of sins and filled with the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:38! Here's why! The gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. If we are to follow him, we must do the same thing. Death= repentance, Burial = baptism, and resurrection = being filled and rising again from the dead and walking in the newness of life. That's what Acts 2:38 is. We must obey the gospel, 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that OBEY NOT THE GOSPEL of our Lord Jesus Christ... Matthew 7:21-23, Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that DOETH THE WILL OF MY FATHER which is in Heaven. St John 3:3-5, EXCEPT a man, be born of WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT, he cannot enter into the kingdom of GOD. We can't come up with our own gospel. Galatians 1:8-9, But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Don't be cursed. One way for all people. Jews, Gentiles, and Samaritans. Our salvation has to match up with the scriptures and no scriptures on the subject can be taken away. Eternity is TOOO long to be WRONG! st, John 5:39, Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. The gospels show what Christ has done on the cross for us. The book of Acts shows us the beginning of Christ's Church and how to enter the Church, obeying Acts 2:38. The letters were written to the Church to show us how to behave now that we are born again into the Church. It's better to walk alone than to walk with a crowd going in the wrong direction. Are we supposed to follow the teachings of the apostles? Acts 2:42, And they continued steadfastly in the apostle's doctrines. Ephesians 2:20, We are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone. Don't get Titus 3:5 mixed up with James 2:14-26, about WORKS. One is a WORK of your OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS OR GOOD DEEDS and the other is a WORK OF FAITH or OBEDIENCE TO GOD. Titus 1:16, They profess that they know God; but in WORKS they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. God bless you.
"Reggae"?! Where did you pull that nonsense from? "Can't SLow Down" was his 2nd album and did not contain the song "Truly"! THis documentary is garbage!
I've been a fan for many many years. Love him. So.talentented .have quite a lot of his music. CDs and so forth. Top.of my favorites has been a long time still is now.
A legend.I'm happy to have lived in the era of this great musician who gave us good sound that we still enjoy till this day.My ultimate favorite is all night long...
My Mom was in Dan Diego visiting my Sister, I was in Michigan. My Mom was on the way home to KY. I got her a plane Ticket to Detroit Airport so she could visit me. When I was at the Airport to pick her up she she didnt get off the plane with other passengers. I started to panic, and I waited, and waited, no cell phones in the 70s. The planes crew came off the plane. A few minutes later Several Men started filing off the Plane with Boom Boxes, Singing, Dancing. Finally my Mom with the last couple of men. I said Mom, come on, what on the world? She said I've had a great flight sitting in thr back of the plane in a quarters, they sang all the way from California. I was furious. When we got home, she said "Oh, they are Famous, look they gave me an Album". Signed by each one of "The Commadores".
