It’s annoying that this video doesn’t show the best part. Right after the song you can see Lionel get super pumped up, strutting around like he owns the whole place (because now he does!!). He was super nervous about doing Glastonbury as he was worried he wasn’t relevant and this was a vindication of his timelessness as an artist and his talent.

i know. it was as if they couldn't do wrong. not one bad or false note. they were on point and then-some. that is a great band he's got. they were beyond pros. these guys knew what they were doing but also add their own touches.

It's interesting to see all my old favs from when I was young now. So many of them sing in a lower key than the originals. Shows age gets us all, even the talented. Still great to see him still rocking it

the night b4, kanye headlined and put on a show that was all style and no substance. this forced lionel richie to show everyone... how it's supposed to be done. he got the security dancing and most of all, that band he has is fucking tight.
