@@InnitBruvz You can simulate everything virtually in code and pay 0 dollars apart from your computer and electricity costs. It is also faster - welding, soldering, positioning heavy parts in reality takes time. Yes you would not have some skills which can only be trained in real life, but who said you need to know absolutely everything, you can do lots of things virtually, from PCB design to CNC programming, just imagine you've done these parts in real life, then put them inside your simulator (which you also wrote), and see if it fits/works.

"I created a classical physics breaker which uses radioactive decay to violate the laws of determination. And by 15 I achieved nuclear fusion" That's a wild sentence I never expected to hear
@Appri
@Appri 8 месяцев назад
Nuclear fusion isn't that hard to achieve. The goal is to achieve sustained nuclear fusion that produces orders of magnitude more energy than you put in, which is not what's going on here. Still a cool experiment, nonetheless.
@Rz-zu5vf
@Rz-zu5vf 8 месяцев назад
@@Appri yeah im sure you've achieved nuclear fusion at the age of 15 years old. Come off it
@Appri
@Appri 8 месяцев назад
@@Rz-zu5vf I'm simply explaining that fusing nuclei is a commonly replicable achievement, while sustained fusion is the thing nuclear physicists are working on globally. It's no small achievement that he got it working, but the scientific method is meant to be reproducible. The comments I'm seeing sound as if he's achieved the breakthrough at age 15, which is absolutely not the case. My field is clearly different than this genius applicant, but replicating an experiment is simply replicating an experiment, that is all. And for the record, I'm a junior at the college he's applying to.
@thejoojoo9999

I'm sorry bro, but if you are going to college you are wasting your time and possibly stunting yourself. Instead either open a business or build a good resume and apply for a job. Do research on the side and write papers and you can skip 8 years. Only thing I'd advise is completing physics and calculus if you don't think you know enough. You clearly have the money to do what you want if you can afford to make a vehicle before college. I had to reclaim things and ask permission to use machines. All that steel and equipment, you have no reason not to self invest. Its incredible to me what ambition mixed with money makes. Good work man. Dont let college kill your ambition. You built a solid learning style and they are going to walk all over it.

I'm 15 and I wanna be like you. I started robotics when I was 12/13 and I really love doing it but the only thing limiting me to doing projects like these are time and money. Hopefully, I resolve these problems and eventually reach the same level as you do. 🤞

I like your dedication man, this shows how much you are committed to your work, if you didn't get in then my theoretical plan to get in would also fail, because I had planned to showcase my potential and interest in science(especially physics), tech and innovation with many projects & ideas in my mind that will also overcome the lack of medals, awards, and extracurricular activities. However due to some reasons and my lack of motivation, I couldn't complete many potential projects to showcase and since I knew I didn't have much to prove my worth, I backed down this time 23-24. Focusing on IIT rn but I will apply next year as a transfer applicant. Also, I will do practical my ideas and convert them into reality in this period, not because to get into MIT, but because I want to do it and I will do it anyways. I hope you get in and we meet soon.

People like you are the reason I even bother relearning the fundamentals of programming and robotics. If I can achieve even a fraction of what you've done here before it's time for college applications, then I'll be content.

The projects are all quite doable for an independent highschooler except for the space and resources for the electric vehicle (assuming he got a nice deal on the turbomolecular vacuum pump).

It always saddens me to see videos like this one... I'm a master's student in electronic engineering, and I've never done anything nearly as cool as the things you're showing in this video. All I seem to do is waste years and years of my life on extremely boring and theoretical stuff.
@MrCaps-sq4bk
@MrCaps-sq4bk 8 месяцев назад
Don't be sad. Be happy on what you achieved. Not alot of people go to college and tolerate it, much less go for a master degree and study a discipline of engineering. Theory is important, without it, how can you design something, and expect it to work or not work?
