Lions Roaring Competition Across the Site

This video shows our Lions trying to defend their area of the site from approaching lions from another pride. On one side of the site are Kafara, Manzi and Tiny, the three brothers; while across the site are Themba, Joy and Sophia warning the other lions to stay away from their cubs. Currently, Joy wins on noise level, vibrating right through you when you are close to her when she really roars, all the boys could learn from her! (There are times in the video when another lion is closer/right next to the camera making slightly different sounds to the lion in view).
The young cubs haven't learnt to join in properly yet, but shouldn't be too long now! When one starts they all tend to join in... and each of them thinks they get the last word each time.
The Big Cat Sanctuary is set in the heart of the countryside at Smarden in Kent. The peace and tranquillity of the site provides a sanctuary and excellent conditions for the successful breeding of the beautiful, yet endangered cats both large and small within the European Endangered Species Breeding.
