This has so many similarities to the Michigan vs OSU game. Both ended with the Michigan team winning 30-24. Both ended with an interception. Both losing teams have a star WR that wears #18. Both had playoff/division/conference implications. Both gave me a level of anxiety that I can't even describe😂

That last Mullens INT was the ugliest pass a “professional” NFL quarterback has thrown in probably 4 in a half decades. Also, that WR Powell was wide open in the flat. Waving his arms in earnest - he would have gotten 20 or more yards on that play with plenty of time remaining. Just a horrific sequence for this Mulligan QB. Some seasons are just not meant to be. 🤕

Back in the day the Detroit Lions had a great wide receiver in Calvin Johnson. Having one stud wide receiver might win you a game here and there but I still believe a good team will beat a team with a stud receiver. It happened to many times to CJ.
