I like this video, you are obviously quite well to do, but also down to earth and not pretentious. Some people only show the good big brand watches but would never want to be caught wearing casio. Some others go to the other extreme to wear the cheapest casio also for wayang. You buy them because you like them, it feels authentic.
Yes, I like to collect watches that I like. From rolex, omega to Casio (only made in Japan model) as long as I like it and affordable. Thanks for watching :)
sumoooo thank you, i will be very happy when buying new watches. Still happy when everytime i check the time. We will wearing the watch everyday, so must buy the one that you love.
Just love that black plastic look! So gonna get it and wear it so everybody thinks that it's an ordinary plastic piece of G-Shock while I alone enjoy the chill of the metal… I simply love the fun fact that they paint plastic to look like metal, and they polish metal to look like plastic
Wow, awesome. A trip back in time for me in regards to nostaglia. I have to pick some of these up - awesome to see them with substantial materials and without costing a fortune. I heard they just released a solid gold version (not the plated one in this video) but it costs a fortune !
i just bought the silver one, I had my eye on it since it came out but never pulled the trigger until now. I never thought I'd spend so much for g shock but I always like g shock square and the prices have come down a bit since 2 years ago. I might add the gold and black on as well because why not
Awesome 👍🏼. I recently bought the black one for work. The metal squares have become very addictive 😂 I now have the B5000GD-1, B5000D-1, B5000D-2, B5000PS, B5000BPC squares 😅
Saludos
You made a great job of producing this video.im very tempted to get the silver.i think the black looks too much like the normal resin.thanks for your work.
I found two (and there were only two available) on Amazon for 400 pounds so I snapped them up. Now I'm wondering if I should sell one now or wait until they are out of production...
This is a very nice looking watch. Glad to still see "Made In Japan" electronics. These Japanese watches are the best. My father still use a CASIO watch he bought in the 90s. Im looking forward to buying both colors, gold and black one day.
@@GIBSONGASPER123 So, the black one looks just like a regular/normal rubber watch? I have the silver one, and actually planning to purchase the black one. But reading your comment makes me think twice.
@@juliansandarsa5309 from a distance just looks like normal rubber watch, need to look at it closely then can see the 'metal reflection'. That's why army camp allow to wear. Your silver from far can know is not rubber watch.
Thanks for the video! I have watched all possible reviews of the B5000 all-steel models in order to decide which one to get - the silver, the gold or the black. Currently all three are available in a store in Sofia, Bulgaria, where I live. I went through all the aspects and at the end, as at the beginning, my heart goes for the silver steel one. The black, although incredible when experiencing it live, does not get through the all-metal aspect enough and even more could be mistaken for the resin models. Of course, if someone likes best the black this should not be a factor, but for me, being on the fence, this aspect is important - I want people around me as well as myself, to fully appreciate the all-metallness of this great watch :) Also, it is a bit dull in comparison to the steel and golden one. The gold one is also great, the gold color is not of the yellow bright kind, so it is fully acceptable from this aspect - being of golden color. However, the combination of gold and negative display, although quite elegant and sophisticated, lacks the straightforwardness and simplicity of the steel model. To conclude, the combination of polished/brushed steel, positive display with black digits and black/gray accents is just the perfect balance of uniqueness, beauty and simplicity at the same time, and keeping in mind this is a g-shock the right balance of these aspects is really part of the core idea of it all. If I get to get a second model then I will willingly consider the gold or the black, but for the one and only - the steel it is for me :)
The positive display is best because it is readable in all lighting situations. The negative displays can be harder to read. Thanks for sharing your video.
Hey, man. You've had the black model for a couple of months now. How is the IP coating holding up? I have a silver model and I want to put a black band and bezel on it. At the moment I can't choose between getting a black one and swapping parts, or forking out for DLC parts (which alone cost the same as the black model).
UsernameInvalidTHIS The black one i bought for my army son, he still under training so not yet wear. It's better to have all different colour and no matter how you match, still good watches.
I think you are looking at the old press releases from April. Black and Gold with reverse displays are normal releases, not limited, though the production of these models seem to be not so fast. Probably because the Japan factories are not big enough.
Thank you. I still prefer the black one, because of its relation to the original models. I asked for it and they told me the dealers can order it within the next weeks, so I hope November is right.
I got a GW-M5610 about a week ago and changed for the combi bracelet and find it pretty good. Now I am torn between the silver one with normal display and the full black one. I am considering contacting the dealer and change my reservation for the silver one. The black one will be not so much different from the 5610.
The gold doesn't suit my tanned skin complexion. I just keep it in the collection box. For the black colour, my elder son is using and silver colour once a while will wear it. These watches are solid build, two years before or after still the same 😁
I just bought the silver model. It is great. Your video was four years ago. Are you still wearing it? I am wondering how the silver metallic finish has been holding?
I keep it in the box seldom wear (got too many watches). As long as you wearing it, any watch (including 904L steel rolex) sure got scratches. For me scratches are the marking of our daily usage, those are memories.
