I do this every night because I have extremely dry peeling cracked lips. After doing my night skincare I put on a generous layer of moisturizer on my lips, and then apply a thick layer of Vaseline on top(aquaphor healing ointment works too). And then I’m the morning I’ll gently wipe it off. Key work GENTLY. Now I have the softest lips in the coldest winter.
use honey or honey + sugar for a few minutes it works the same then coconut oil on ur lip i use it for about 10 minutes and your lips will be naturslly glossy and then just apply a lip balm or vaseline
I use my regular toothbrush to remove the dry flakes off my lips. I have a soft bristle toothbrush and I apply gentle pressure when exfoliating. I thoroughly rinse my toothbrush afterwards to clean off residue 👍
I just use an electric toothbrush gently because I'm too lazy to actually scrub it myself so I just move the brush along my lips and it helps but I let a lip scrub set on my lips while showering, mind you it's about 30-45 minutes of that

@@nurulhanim6126 apply some capsicum or a thick layer of moisturiser that doesnt really taste good i use vaselinne it doesnt really taste like anything but for starters take a thick layer of moisturiser hope it helps!:)
Omgg ive been doing that since i was in kindergarten just because i cant stand the skin on my lips being uneven. And spicy or sour food doesn’t help even though it stings i just deal with it and continue peeling 🤷♀️ i cant stopppp😭

No don't. I used to do that and it made my lips drier than ever coz the lipstick's dry too. Now I use boroline before applying lipstick cuz if the lipstick is long-lasting, it dosen't wipe off immediately and leaves a stain which eventually dries the lips.

normally I get a cloth and put it under warm water to dampen it, then I start scrubbing off all the dead and cracked skin off my lips. At the end I put Vaseline on my lips and keep it on for the day
Please don't use dry lipstick so much and even if you do please apply moisturizing balm before and after applying dry lipstick. Thank you for the heart ❤️
ok I've been doing something similar but it gave me the best results before going to bed I apply thick layer of lip mask or Vaseline lip therapy and I wait for like 10 min , then I take a soft tooth brush and I start doing gentle scrubs to my lips then I wash it off and apply another thick layer of lip mask with lip tint, and since then I wake up with soft pink lips
which lip mask do you use? i’m not sure which one to buy haha. also the toothbrush hack is soooo good it always makes my lips so smooth but i am yet to try a lip mask
My lips are never dry. I drink a lot of water and brush my teeth twice a day and brush my lips too to exfoliate then i apply vaseline before going to bed. Trust me, this makes a huge difference
Very dry and cracked lips usually is a sign of lack in vitamins especially b12 take supplements and drink water and keep healthy diet and couple it with a good skin care routine.
A super thick layer of vaseline overnight is lip changing. Seriously try it and use the vaseline as an overnight lip mask, put a generous amount of it on your lips then leave it on for the whole night and wipe it off later in the morning,

Honestly i find the idea from that one dermatologist who invented lip basting (serum with glycolic acid toped of with a heavy cream or plain vaseline) to be even more effective 😅
Guys !! Use a lip scrub to exfoliate your lips beforehand! It will remove the dead skin and make your lip 10x softer. Then after that, feel free to apply a type of lip mask or Vaseline. Diy Lip scrub: Sugar Coconut oil Vanilla extract (optional) A tiny drop of red or pink food coloring (optional) You can mix all those ingredients together than store it in a container and use it! How to apply: Rub the mixture across your lips back and forth not too firm or too soft, just enough to feel like it’s removing some dead skin. Keep doing that for 45 secs-1 min and then wash it off with warm water and apply the mask/Vaseline. When your done using it store it in the fridge) then when you want to use it again, you can let it sit for 25-30 mins for it to defrost. Make sure to not let it sit too long or else it’ll melt! I would recommend adding this to your routine and using it not more than 2 times a week. Longer than that could damage your lips!! Easy: when you brush you teeth, brush you lips too. After you finish, wipe with towel to remove dead skin. Your lips will be like baby again. Thank me later.
This is a very bad idea, it damages the skin on the lips and adds to the dryness even if you immediately apply lip balm. The tutorial in the video is much gentler and Better in the long run. Smooth ≠ healthy lips
Yup this works! Now i use one lip scrub from body shop. I apply it and then wipe off with tissue after few minutes.. removes dead skin and after that i apply a moisturizing tinted lip balm..my lips dese days look so healthy.
The only thing that works for me is a 10% AHA peel serum - I put it on for a few minutes, wipe it off & then put a heavy lip mask on & it works so well!
just water is enough to apply on lip and wip it off with towel Note : after eating and after bathing the lip will be soaked in water , so in that case wiping with towel brings good result 😊

Look imma make it SUPER EASY for all of yall. Get chap stick. If you have burts bees original chapstick thats even better. Rub that bad boy in. And i have something its like a wand with bumps on it and i SCRUB my lip with it. My lips are always smooth and never dry because i do this before bed.
I just do this instead Drink water then when drinking pucker your lips inside so it can get some water 2 and then wait for a few minutes then use a lip balm no tint then wait few mins depends on how dry ur lips are and then get your lipstick and tada
I apply desi ghee on my lips regularly...and i am following only this on my lips and nothing else ,not even lip balm and also not any lipstick( just in case i am attending any function ) and believe me ,i have very soft and pink lips 😊
Istg iwhen beauty gurus put foundation over their dry lips and then apply dry ass matte liquid lipstick on top I literally die inside... Like that to me is the epitomy of torture 😩😩
