Do Diesel cars in South Africa now come with DPFs fitted and Adblue? This is a great product to have. Not many diesel car owners can drive on a highway at above 120kph for 20 minutes every so often.

Hi Chanda, Diesel cars have had DPFs since 2006 and yes some variations is South Africa have DPFs. You also get models that require AdBlue as well. Liqui Moly offers highly effective DPF solutions as well as additives for preventative usage.

On the 250ml bottle I have bought it says on it "Add to the fuel every 2000km just before filling up." So why on here do they tell you to inject it directly into the DPF?

Hi Andrew, the one used in this video is the Pro-Line Diesel Particulate Filter Cleaner used to clean clogged diesel particulate filters when installed. The 250ml can is the Diesel Particulate Filter Protector , recommended to reduces soot formation, lowers emissions and extends the service life of diesel particulate filters. which can be added in your fuel tank

Hi Lee, Liqui Moly DPF Cleaner - 5169 DPF Gun - 7946 and DPF Prob set and 5 adapters - 7945 You can special request this from your nearest Goldwagen store 😉

I believe Liqui Moly DPF Purge - 5171 is needed as well ;) (after 5169 -> wait 15-20 minutes and proceed with 5171 LM DPF Purge - full bottle again)

Hi Daniel, Yes, this is highly effective fluid for cleaning clogged passenger car diesel particulate filters when installed. Dissolves hardened, dense and encrusted contaminants on the surface of diesel particulate filters.

Hi Darko, As long as it has a DPF you can use it, thereafter use the DPF Protector for preventative measures.

I seriously doubt this can remove ash deposits. If you have a soot accumulation problem, you have more issues at hand than just a highly particle loaded dpf substrate. If your DPF is this accessible (from underneath the vehicle), it would be best to take it off and have it professionally cleaned. If you are mechanically minded, there are guides online for cleaning dpf's at home with readily available chemicals and water.
