It clumps with a small amount of liquid, like the amount that a cat pees and then when added to a lot of water like the amount in this pint glass Or say in your toilet bowl it will the dissolve. I’m guessing that it’s designed to absorb a certain amount of water and once it reaches a point where it’s absorbed as much as it can it starts to break down into this liquid state. So in answer to someone else’s question, sure if you don’t clean/scoop your litter tray as often as you should and your can pees in the same place in the litter tray like mine does then I’m sure that eventually will absorb too much liquid and start to break down but if your scooping/cleaning it regularly then it should only dissolve like this when it’s added to a large amount of water like that of a toilet bowl. To be honest I’m still shocked at how much my nearly 2 year old cat can pee in a day when half the time it’s hard to even catch him drinking… my only sign is the water fountain level is going down lol. 😊
@@AvonGaming1well I think they’re saying like it’s different from water because it has other things mixed in it For example blue paint mixed with red paint is still paint but it’s now purple
