Thank you for the thorough and thoughtful review! I am purchasing this stand on your recommendation, using your affiliate links! I've also subbed to your channel! Great content, keep up the good work!

Thanks so much! This stand is awesome, I'm actually going to get a second one for gigs so i can leave my one set up at home (it will replace my Pyle stand I've been using for gigs that is slowly getting more wobbly lol. You'll love the stand. Thanks for checking out the channel and for the kind words! Feel free to subscribe if you haven't already :)

I purchased an extremely similar stand with the “short” feet as Liquid Stands brand. After assembly and connecting 2nd tier, I placed my 88 key Dexibell Stage piano on the bottom supports and my Hammond XK5 organ ( 35 lbs.) onto the top tier! This setup for me was a bad choice. The entire assembly had the tendency to tip backwards. Weight distribution was very unstable. I removed the lower piano and the upper organ started to flip over backwards. Luckily for me I was about 10-12 inches from a wall, otherwise my Hammond would’ve taken a very nasty fall.! If the feet of these type stands were longer, perhaps that might help, but I immediately disassembled everything, packaged it up and returned it the very next day. I noticed in this video that you put your right foot on top of the stands foot when you went to demonstrates stability when trying to wiggle the stand. Having invested near $8K for my boards, I had to finally buy the 2 tier custom chrome stand made by Gibraltar($700) in order to get the extremely rock solid stability I needed to protect my investment. If liquid stands, increased the length of the feet on the backside of this stand, it would increase the stability and reduce the chances of “tip over”.

I’ve never had any stability issues so far with this stand, and I’m always using 2 tiers. That being said I’ve never had a board that heavy in the 2nd tier. The cross brace bar really makes a massive difference in stability though. And if you need longer bottom legs for stability Liquid Stands has extensions you can get: amzn.to/3zZMoQr Thanks for sharing all that info and for checking out the channel! Feel free to subscribe

I had a couple of other stands before I found the "Liquid" stands. Fantastic Products. They are stable and extremely adjustable depending on whatever setup I need. I'm hooked.

Looks like a great stand. I am enjoying your videos. My only concern with this stand is the spacing between top and bottom keyboard, I generally like my keyboards closer to each other.

It's so versatile I love it. Sometimes I have 2nd tier arms on, sometimes not; and I often have an iPad clamp and a mic boom clamp on the 2nd tier cross beam. Love this stand! Thanks for checking out the channel, feel free to subscribe

Great job with the review !! Pointing out features that you found useful, like the center brace on 2nd tier and optional attachments that could be used there was awesome. I like how stable and sturdy the stand is. I definitely will be ordering this stand and the bench. Thank you for the video.

It's fantastic! I've only had it for a a couple weeks, and I already love it. It's making it way easier for me to do everything from record videos for my channel to practicing with my band. I can make the top tier narrow for my laptop while I'm sitting at the piano working out a new video, and then widen it for a second keyboard when needed, and I have an iPad clamp connected to it as well as a mic boom. @PianoTone
@PianoTone Год назад
@@WayneMusicianUK I think they might be working on attachments like that, but at present I don't think they have those. I bought one clamp at a store and returned it (took 5 full minutes to clamp an iPad, you had to screw and unscrew holders) then I got this one off Amazon it's awesome: geni.us/ReebLUB And I bought a cheap boom arm thinking it was probably cheap for a reason, but it's actually really good I've been using it for all my videos for almost a year and it's still holding up fine (surprisingly strong -holds a heavy mic easy): geni.us/WNzT4

Hi, great and very informative video. 1 question though: Can you also install the 2nd tier arms on the longer end of the upper bars or would that be unstable once the keyboard is put on top?
@PianoTone
@PianoTone Месяц назад
Thanks so much! I'm not sure I understand what you're asking . . . the upper arms are made to clamp onto the horizontal bar that goes across (the horizontal bar makes it WAY more stable than most stands, and also so you can slide them back and forth to customize the width). Thanks for checking out the channel, feel free to subscribe

Which iPad mount are you using in the picture on the 2nd tier? Do you think it would be stable enough for an iPad Pro 12.9?
@PianoTone
@PianoTone Месяц назад
It's this one: amzn.to/3Z3NzbH The iPad Pro 12.9 is listed so I'm assuming it would work for that (my iPad is pretty old). Thanks for checking out the channel, feel free to subscribe

Really enjoy your content. What about the portability of this stand. How portable is it? Also what table and mic boom arm are you using in the video.
@PianoTone
@PianoTone Год назад
Thanks that's much appreciated! It's just a cheap mic boom off Amazon that attaches to pretty much anything - only cost me $20 and I love it, super useful. As far as the portability to be honest I've never tried moving it - if I did (I have an SUV with lots of space in the back) I wouldn't have to disassemble it or anything but you could if you needed to.

Tony I noticed you have a CK88 in this video. Did you return the CK61 to get the CK88 or did you also keep the CK61?
@PianoTone
@PianoTone 9 месяцев назад
I did a month in actually - I’d been agonizing about not having fully weighted keys vs extra $$$ and since I was playing 90% piano at the time thought yeah I should. Funny thing is now I’m in a blues band playing 90% organ hahaha (on fully weighted keys)

Have you used this stand with the DGX-670? The DGX is pretty deep , so wondering if this stand fits ok or if it overhangs the front too much (when 2nd tier is in place).
@PianoTone
@PianoTone 9 месяцев назад
I haven’t actually because I have the DGX attached to the wooden stand - I just did a quick measure and the DGX is 17” deep and the arm length is 16” so technically no, but that inch might not matter (this stand is super strong); I’d have to detach the DGX and try it to be sure. Hope that helps! Thanks for checking out the channel feel free to subscribe

I bought this stand based on this review. It is super stable however the height of the 2nd keyboard from the bottom is just way to big. I feel like I am reaching over my head when playing. I have suggested to Liquid Stands that they add a second attachment point to the 2nd tier that brings the top keyboard down closer to the bottom one.
@PianoTone
@PianoTone 5 месяцев назад
I've suggested the same thing! And also some additional holes in the base stand so it can go about 6 inches higher (I play standing with my band and it's just a touch too low). FYI for the upper tier if you want you can attach the upper arms to the back brace upside down and spin the front L things (that keep your upper board from sliding off) 180 degrees - this will bring the upper tier a couple inches down. Thanks for checking out the channel, feel free to subscribe

@@PianoTone Tried what you suggested but you only get 9 inches of space and you need 11 inches for a CK61. Thanks for the suggestion. I am a subscriber.

Your video was great! It encouraged me to buy it and try formyself. So far so good.. took me 10 mins to assemble it max.. I'm playing with an older korg, and may buy the 2nd tier becaise i want a new board. Thanks for sharing i love the color you chose.

Thanks so much! Glad you like the stand, still my favourite ever - one of the best features is the back bar you can clamp stuff to (I have a shelf for my mixer, an iPad clamp and a mic boom arm clamped to it- works amazing). Using my older Pyle stand for gigs but may need another liquid stand instead it just works so well. Thanks for checking out the channel feel free to subscribe

I have been using this stand for years. I had zero issue until Recently upgraded my 73 key Korg to 88 key Nord Piano 5. The stand shakes a lot. Do you experience same issue ??
@PianoTone

I use a 25 lb Yamaha CK88 on the lower level 99% of the time, and various boards on top and no trouble. I recently used a 37 lb Roland on the bottom and had my 25lb Yamaha on top and still solid as a rock; any chance anything came loose or something? How heavy is the Nord? I have a liquid stands stand and it's horrendous. I've attempted to reach out how to troubleshoot the wobbly issue. They've not reached out to me. Every key I press the stand wobbles terribly. Stand was fine till about 5 month into using it. Everything is tightened. Can you possibly tell me how to keep it from wobbling

Mine has been amazing; if everything is tightened I'm not sure what to suggest other than does it need levelling maybe?

How does ut work with two 76-key Yamahas on it? Is it good and stable? And also does it break down easily to fit into a car trunk?
@PianoTone
@PianoTone 8 месяцев назад
It's super stable; I've even had a fully weighted 88 key piano (Yamaha CK88 on the top tier) and it's fantastic. To be honest, I haven't been using this for gigs, so I can't comment on the quick takedown - I don't think it would be a big issue. I'm using my prior stand (Pyle) for gigs, and it is actually becoming wobbly (not the main stand, but the second tier is nowhere near as good). I'm probably going to buy another Liquid Stands stand soon for gigs that I can just leave "taken down". With the Pyle one (also a Z stand, I don't really disassemble it, I just slide the width to min, and slide the upper tier down to min height to reduce the size and it fits nicely in my hatchback that way. How does the keyboard attach to the stand? Or does it just sit there.
@PianoTone
@PianoTone 11 месяцев назад
There are heavy rubber straps with holes along like a belt that attach to the stand, and if you have the proper mounting holes on the bottom of your keyboard (some do some don't) then you could attach the keyboard as well. It's not meant to keep your keyboard more steady, it's just meant to make sure your keyboard won't fall off if someone bumps into it. (I never bother with these straps) Thanks for checking out the channel, feel free to subscribe
