I know Max was disheartened about the 2nd place finish, but that was a race for the ages. A thriller all the way through. I’m glad it’s so close, because a blowout wouldn’t be fun to watch.
that was just Liquid being lucky for being NA else Echo would have totally smacked them. Liquid is no competition in WoW. And your wannabe cool dude Max is just a wannabe crybaby nothing more . Cried about the Razageth nerf, and yet he got 2 nerfs 2 INSANE nerfs right before echo went to bed. SHUT the hell up dude
Where did they fought hard dude ? They got 2 nerfs right before they wake up. They didnt fight neither in the first tier nor in the second tier and obviously not in this one. Echo 120 Pulls less than liquid. Echo won last tier aswell if there wasnt this dumb non global release. Stop being delusional but Liquid will never be at the level that Echo is!
@@Stylerflo99 Using pull count as a metric is nonsensical. Liquid spam-pull and Echo take a 10 minute break after each pull. How many of Liquid's pulls were quick 90% wipes?
as a european and former co-raider of an Echo member I have to cheer for them but you guys definately put up a show till the end! Was an awesome race and really enjoyed following both guilds for the entire race - keep it up, top squad! :)
@@bmo14lax yeah think so too - would definately love a join up vid of both scripe and max again where they talk about the race in retrospective because the last 3 bosses and even Larodar (even if the latter was tuned a little bit too easy maybe) were top notch bosses from an outsiders perspective and want to hear their combined opinion about the tier :)
maybe im biased too, but firedup is in a different league of mage player. he constantly does risky things with insane consistency that it sometimes seem that max is even surprised he lived that. there is good reason he never plays something else, if u got 1 mage spot in raid setting, firedup is the man
It’s sounds like more relief in their voices than anything as the amount of pulls and intensity of the race really must have been taxing and stressful. Gratz Liquid! Well done. Onward to the expansion and crushing those Echo scoundrels!
That 1% pull I still don’t know how they didn’t kill it. They had seeds figured out. Really sucks. However, this fight sucks except for P3. P3 is kinda the only thing that’s interesting to watch. I think Tindral is one of the best bosses they’ve made. That fight was absolutely unreal.
for me in each newer raid the fps gets worse and worse, especially in 20+ groups, even if I put 1 on all the settings it dips below 60 quite often (rtx 3080 and i7 12700k), turning off addons helps but it's not as comfortable without them
@@jordonjackson4680 It's funny you should mention that since last tier only lasted 6 days, less than a reset, which means the head start advantage that liquid gets with NA reset had a more significant impact than ever... That said - I don't think Echo is in a league of it's own, I think Echo and Liquid are in a league of their own, with Method nibbling at their heels a bit, trying to get back into that league - I do however think that whilst both teams played out of their mind and the last few hours of the race was proper nailbiter with both teams having sub-2% pulls as their best, Echo just played a little bit better this tier. They did hard-choke on Tindral and if they didn't get that last pull of the night kill, I'm sure liquid would've beat them to WF Fyrakk tho. I understand that both teams have very different "takes" on how they handle the boss, where Liquid throws more pulls in to get the comfort/experience, whilst Echo takes the time in between to hammer down "if this happens, we do this to solve it" or straight up "how do we prevent that from happening in a consistent way", and in that regard I do prefer Echo's method - Comfort/routine-building is good but wearing players down by just speed-pulling logically would mean lower quality pulls on average, think Quality>Quantity whereas it feels like Liquid sacrifice some Quality for the sake of Quantity... Just my personal opinion though.
@@azaldie Then explain bosses like Nzoth. Tildrassil was actually harder than Fyrakk. Who killed it first? The argument is stupid. The statements y’all make are stupid.
the blizzard team at charge of raid boss designs should be removed, after 10 years they do the exact same encounters, bomb that explode on 5 secs, move out of fire, goo that spawn on ppl feet after x secs, move from point a to b to put a somekind of shield on entire raid....its pathetic
Move Out -> or Stuff Moive in -> or Stuff Damage X Dont Damage X Heal (disepel) X Dont Heal (dispel) X CC X Dont CC X In different combination with a different look ... But the Core mechanics of the Game ARE the things i mentioned above ... you cant change that without changeing how the core gameplay works ... So what is your point
@@nopenever9829go look the favorite boss fitghs of all time and you see my point...they are diferent. You can put any skin on this humanoid dragon and no one ever remember what special was the end boss...
@@War3nerdLiquid had a 19-hour headstart in Fyrakk since Echo took the entire day wiping in Tindral. They even went dark while progressing but it still isn't enough. Liquid is too reliant on a few exceptional players in order to win races. Echo is more superior in mechanic-heavy fights that require intense team-wide coordination (Sylvanas, Jailer, Fyrakk).
@@throwaway756 both guilds went dark this race. And both guilds rely on their few exceptional players to win Echo is better at adapting for sure but both guilds are good and they made this race a blast to watch
@@War3nerd the point about Liquid going dark is Echo didn't have any opportunities of knowing the strategies ahead which validates Liquid's advantage of having a headstart. However, Echo breached P3 first and was the first to reach both 20% and 10% despite Liquid's overwhelming 19-hr advantage. The headstart exists whether you deny it or not. And Liquid failed to capitalize on it.
I don't see how echo 'won'. They only beat you on Fyrakk, but you won Tindral and Smolderon, and echo had the luxury of saving massive amounts of time copying your strats.
@@bengixd nope no cope. It was the closest race in a long time with both guilds having sub 2% wipes. Came down to who executed the last phase better when both guilds played well. If you only enjoyed it to talk crap about people then you prove my statement of being a tribal ape
@@War3nerd I'm sorry but your brain has to be severely underdeveloped to think the headstart doesn't matter, like that's legitimately at the level you're trying to argue this. Imagine trying to convince me in a marathon a headstart doesn't matter. The mental gymnastics of americans is insane
Imagine thinking that matters. Look at last tier. Liquid shut their streams off on Aberrus so Echo wouldn’t be able to strat steal and guess who dominated that one?
