Lisa Carrington is a New Zealand flatwater canoeist. She won 🥇 in the Women's K-1 200m at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London and 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, as well as 🥇 in the same event at the 2011 Canoe Sprint World Championships. She talks to the Olympic Channel about doing what she loves, her 10-year winning streak, having a strong physic, and her mindset. Enjoy watching!

Many athletes are both mentally and physically strong but the best athletes have the ability to combine both harmoniously (in synchronicity) and Lisa has this ability in spades.
