I'm excited to try the new Lisa Eldridge Kitten Flick Liquid Eyeliner and Kitten Lash Mascara today. This is just a first impression and try on, but I do have some wear notes for you. I'd love to know if you picked up either of these products, are looking for the perfect mascara and liquid liner. What are your current go-to products for mascara and liquid liner? * Wear Notes: I wore this liner and mascara for 10+ hours. I didn't have any smudging or transfer of the eyeliner, and the mascara didn't crumble or flake off. It also didn't smudge. I'll update you during a full review later. So far, so good!

My most recent Makeup Update has a review of both of these. I LOVE the mascara, and have been enjoying the liner. I'm not sure the liner is going to replace the EM Cosmetics Illustrative Liner, but it's a great formula. I prefer a brush tip. I'm trying to decide if I like this mascara better than Monsieur Big from Lancome. I've been buying Lancome for the past 7 years, and I have 3 back up tubes at the moment. This one is really fantastic, but I want to get to the end of a tube and see how it wears when it's starting to dry out.

Yes, I picked up the new skin tint and 2 of the new lip liner shades. 0N and 1N. I'm excited to see what they're like. I really have been loving the mascara, and I'm still reaching for the liner regularly. Both are great releases. Thanks for watching today.

I love mascaaras that curl lashes, they always have that curved wand. Im really happy to read that it didn't smudge. I was worried that i couldnt find a water proof or water resistant claim anywhere . Im sure youll have to try it out more, but this is promising 😃

I was waiting for your review on these two! So excited for this mascara. Will probably hold off on the liner, it looks amazing on you, but it's too dark/harsh with my face and hair. PS how would you say it compares to the Heimish in terms of feel, curl and lasting power?

I feel like you get great curl and hold from both the LE and the Heimish. I didn't have problems with my curl drooping or any flaking yesterday with the Kitten Lash. I feel like the easy of building the LE mascara is why I'm going to love it. I also like how soft it feels on the lashes. For the price, I still feel like I'll be purchasing the Heimish. I love a tubing mascara, and this one is fantastic.

I was waiting for your review on these products! I ordered them both the second they launched on her site even though I know that non waterproof mascaras just do not work for me in terms of holding a curl (my lashes are long but straight and lie flat!). Unfortunately Lisa's mascara does not perform any magic for me but I feel like, based on all the other reviews, I'm the only one feeling that way! I do absolutely love the liner though - it's a dream to use. I hope Lisa brings out a waterproof formula for the mascara - my favourite is Lancôme Lash Idole waterproof which I know is a Lisa creation!

Ooh, I'm sorry the mascara isn't working for you. I like the lash idole, but I never wear waterproof mascara. It's just too hard for me to remove. 😔 I really like this new LE mascara, but I know it won't be everyone's favorite. I hope it's doesn't turn out to be my new favorite because of the price. 👀

That mascara looks incredible!!! I’ve got sooooooo many samples oh my gosh from Ulta 🤣 I have been looking for a great smudge proof liner lol but I need brown I been using Benefit liquid eyeliner and mascaras recently bad gal bang and fanfest and then tower 28 on lower lash line lol … Natasha Denona is my brand I get excited about but I’m not crazy about the past 2 launches 😑 ugh Thanks!!!! 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍

I feel like this one was smudge proof. (both the liner and the mascara) I need to spend a little bit more time with the liner to really get the feel for it, but I like it. I would love both of these in a brown. I wasn't that excited about the past 2 launches from ND either. I was expecting more.

Looks like you nailed the eye flick...good job!! I never use liquid liner or do a cat eye. My eye shape is way too round. I use Chanel eyeliner & Benefit They're Real mascara...works for me!! 😊 Pretty pink lip...i 🩷it!!

I was also surprised that LE came out with a felt tip liner, since all of the liners she has recommended in the past have been brush tip. But it does look beautiful on you and seems to perform brilliantly. You did a great job of the winged liner -- after all this time I STILL struggle with it. Will definitely consider buying.

I had a harder time with the felt tip than I expected to. I need to get used to it. I really liked the mascara! I'll have to set it it replaced my favorite one from EM that had a brush tip.

Lisa Eldridge is my 'set the alarm brand too'! I think I've bought everything she's released, including these. I love her formulations and the nuances of her shade ranges and I even adore her foundation, which know is not a universal winner. But she actually does a shade thats genuinely pale and neutral - not peach or yellow or pink) which is really unusual.I haven't opened my mascara yet because Im forcing myself to finish my VB one first (non waterproof -- and boy IS it non- waterproof?) which Ive found SO disappointing for the price. I love the natural fluttery look of the LE one and Im really looking forward to trying it having seen your demo! The liner though I have tried and I love it. Im not much of a fan of liquid liners usually because they're so unsubtle but the nib on this one is so fine and the flow is so constant you can draw a really thin line close to the lashes and it looks almost invisible but really adds the appearance of volume. Or you can vamp it up at will. Im absolutely impressed and like you, Im excited different colours in both mascara and liner. The prospect of a new lip formula too... hoping so hard its another bullet one and not the ubiquitous lip oil... * Anyway* - thanks for another great demo!

I would love a new bullet lip formula, and I could pass on a lip oil. I love a lip oil, but I want something of substance from Lisa. I'm really impressed with the liner and the mascara. It took me a few days to figure out the liner, because I'm used to a brush tip, but I really like it. It's SO black! I'm very impressed with the mascara. I haven't curled my lashes all week! I love. Lisa's foundation is the only shade (02) in my entire collection that is a perfect match for my skin. It's what I reach for when I want to look perfect. I never used to wear pink lipstick, but after picking up some of Lisa's pinks, I'm willing to wear them because they're nuanced. It's not the same Barbie or baby pink that everyone else has. The depth of color, or bright punch is different than what I've tried from most other brands. Maybe I've been trying the wrong lipsticks, but I just adore her shade range. I have almost all the bullet lipsticks (I think I'm only missing 2 Velvets and 2 Luxuriously Lucents) Thanks so much for watching today.

Good evening, yup still up😂I only bought the mascara and waiting for it to get to me. I’ll have to try not curling my straight lashes and see if it curls mine. I don’t wear liquid eyeliner, not good at it so I use eyeshadow or a pencil only on my lash line. Heck if the mascara is that good it was well worth the price. My go to mascara is the Lancôme Idol or the Benefit Rollerlash. I’m still waiting on more of her lipsticks, the Saturated ones, most of her mattes don’t stick to my inner lips so slowly I’ve been passing those to my sister.🥰

I was very impressed with how this mascara wore today. So soft, and fluffy while still providing definition. I also liked how well the liner held up against my leaky left eye. I hope Lisa comes out with more lipstick shades, and more formulas in bullet packaging. I don't need more gloss or liquid lips, but I LOVE the bullet formulas. Lancôme has all the mascaras I keep going back to. Given that Lisa Eldridge is behind those, I’m really looking forward to trying the one from her line when I’m done with the mascaras I have now. I’m curious about the eyeliner, but the one I have (KVD) never gets any use, so I’m going to be realistic and skip it.

Yes, be realistic about your purchases. I use a liquid liner several times a week, but I use a brush tip. This felt tip took some getting used to, but it's very precise. I LOVE the mascara. I know that Lisa has created some amazing mascaras for Lancome, and I've been a huge fan for so long. I'm excited to see what she continues to come out with.

Question…because of you leaky eye, what eyeliner stays on the best? I have Alopecia and again lost my lashes. I have trouble with eyeliner staying on.

I like the ones from One Size (point made gel liners) Make Beauty, and Persona. They last the best on my eyes without my tears getting the better of them.

I've been using a brush tip liner for years, and using this was a bit of a learning curve for me. This felt tip isn't as flexible as the brush tip liner I've been using, but it's so sharp. One thing I've noticed is that it takes this liquid formula a bit longer to dry than the other one I've been addicted to for years. (EM Cosmetics Illustrative Liner) I need to let it nearly finish drying before I try and clean up any parts of it with my fingernail, or I just end up smearing it all over. I have been reaching for it a lot over the past several days, and I like it. I'm not sure I like it enough to keep repurchasing it, but I'm going to give myself until the end of the month before I make that decision. This is $10 more expensive than the one I've repurchased countless times from EM, and I'm not sure I want to fall in love with a $32 eyeliner.

I love your earrings in this video ❤ I am a LisaEldridge fan but it is the 3nd time I didn't pick up the new products right away. LisaEldridge and VBB are my favorite brands. If I think about it they have somehow similar products. My favorite mascara is actually the VBB in the black tube. ( I got it in a holiday set, and thougt I would never be loyal to a high end mascara, but I was wrong) So I am curious to purchase the LisaEldridge and see if it can beat my VBB one that I love). I have to admit from all the products I tried from VBB there are not so much that I didn't like. From LE it is sometimes hit or miss, for me. I didn't love the liquid blushes, I love here glosses but hate the packaging. I the lipliners are not my favorite, I have some of them because of the color. I was first super happy with the foundation samples and was convinced to pick up the foundation afther I juse up my base products that are open. But I am changing my mind about that. The shade match is great but I am not convinced about the formula. But a lot of her products are exceptionel. I love the cleanser, her lipsticks, liquid eyeshadow and the liquid highliter is fenomenal.

I'm addicted to the lipsticks and highlight. Her liquid eyeshadows are my favorite single shadow to use. They're so easy, and have the look of a lot of effort when in fact, it takes hardly any time at all. I really like this mascara. I'm worried I'll like it so much that I'll continue to "need" it. I have so many mascaras in my back ups that I shouldn't need to purchase another mascara for at least a year, but there's a good chance if I fall head over heels for this one, I'll gift the others to my kids, and just get this one. I'm not ready to say that yet, but . . . I haven't has as much success with VBB as you have. Most of the things work well for me, but they're not my holy grails. I'll keep trying the brand, but it never seems to pull me in the way Lisa's products do. That's ok, we each have different needs and ways of applying makeup. I'm glad there's something for each of us. I really like this style of earring. They're fun!

@@thelipstickgal There is something about VBB products that I like a lot. I think it is that the products are really understated and not to much but just enough. But I have te feeling that it is something that is not for e everyone. If you expect that the product packs a punch than you are probably disappointed. I love that bearly there kind of vibe. The bad thing is that I end up spending a lot because I almost love everything she makes. But I love LE too. I think the brand stands for a similar kind of makeup look. But not always the bearly there look. Makeup is so personal. Because of that I love watching you tube. If the RU-vid er discribes the product well than I have a better idea If it is something I would like,love or adore. Your reviews are always really helpful because you really discribes the formula, how it feels on the skin, ...

Thanks so much. I'm always trying to give as much info as possible (that makes my videos longer) I want you to know what you're likely to experience before you decide to make the purchase. Makeup is expensive, there's no need to purchase what isn't likely to get used in your collection. I do love the understated look for every day. I tend to really go for all the colors and products it when I sit down to film a video, but if you saw me on the regular, I've got more of a VBB vibe going on.

Have just finished a 17-hour day, walked 10k steps in the rain and the new LE mascara has not flaked at all. No smudges. And, my eyelashes are still soft! What magic is this?? (Now, if it only came in brown...)

I was checking out the release of the Sam Chapman products yesterday, and none of them pulled me in enough to make a purchase. I'm sure I'd like them if I tried them, but I feel I already have similar products, and some of the beauty pie makeup I've tried in the past year has been a bit of a miss. 🤷‍♀️ Lisa makes makeup I want to try. Most of it works perfectly for me; I really enjoy her releases. That's what's so interesting about makeup, it's so subjective. We each like different things and apply makeup differently.

I prefer a tubing mascara. A curved wand always confuses me because I don’t know which way to use it. I found her video of different people applying the mascara interesting. The liner is a pass for me. I have old hooded and down turned eyes, so any sort of wing is a no. I’m always interested in what Lisa comes out with. Although the last time a purchased anything from her was her eyeshadow palettes. Love of my Life is one of my favorite lipsticks.i always look forward to Sydney Grace’s Christmas in July.

I was so glad I pulled out Love of My Life for this video. It's such a fun shade to wear. I also love a tubing mascara, but I was so impressed with this one. When it comes to applying mascara with a curved wand, I struggle as well. I use both side. When the curve is facing down (like a frown) I use it to pile on product and get into the base of my lashes. When the curve is facing up, I use it to separate and push my lashes up for curl. This is one of the few mascaras where the curl I got from application stayed all day. I was so impressed with that. My lashes are short, straight and point down. Without my lash curler, you can't see my lashes at all. I was really floored withe the performance and application of the mascara. I know I won't be wearing liquid liner forever, but for now, I'm always happy to try out the latest and greatest. Thanks so much for watching today. I'll look forward to the SG Christmas in July sale too.

Thanks for your explanation of how you use the wand it is helpful. Almost all mascaras end up underneath my eyes. I don’t ever try to put mascara on my lower lashes. I think it a because of my skincare. I do like a brown mascara because it doesn’t look so stark under my eyes. Yes, my lashes don’t have much curl. And are so short I have problems getting my lashes in an eye lash curler. So the curl aspect of the mascara intrigues me, especially because I usually don’t take/have the time to curl my lashes. Now if Lisa comes out with a burgundy mascara I would snap it up. Right now I need to use what I have

This mascara is so soft on the lashes. I didn't have any problems getting it off, and I didn't have to work hard at all. I always use a double cleanse with a muslin cloth, and this came off super easily. There are a few other mascaras that even with my double cleanse and muslin cloth give me trouble. (I'm looking at you L'Oreal Telescopic Lift) This is easier to take off than my favorite from Lancome. It's a beautiful product. It might replace my favorite from Lancome. We'll see.

Power is stunning. I wore Maison yesterday and was so impressed with the mouth feel and wear time. I like how it can be soft and barely there, or really piled on for opaque color.

I still haven't tried the tower 28 mascara. 🤦‍♀️ I love ones that lift and curl my lashes. The only other one that does that for me is the Heimish Smudge Stop mascara.

Tower 28 definitely has that “wizardry” aspect you discussed, I think a lot of mascaras are going in the same direction. Plus it’s very volumizing which is what I look for in a mascara.

It also smudges at the slightest hint of moisture, and the tube dries out super quickly.

I really like mascaras that can give a nice curl and hold it at least for some time without being waterproof. So I dont think Lisa's is unique in that sense, there are quite some other mascaras that really can lift the lashes. From the recent faves I can say Lottie London super fake mascara (in the white tube) does that, I was really impressed how well it curls and hold very straight lashes up there and still relatively easy to take it off. Im not gonna buy Lisa's because I have similar wands mascaras and for less of a price. Luckily there is no problem finding a great mascara be it drugstore or high end these days, no need to pay this much for that. Except youre a Lisa's fan of course which Im not really and even if I was I would take everything with the grain of salt even if its my fave brand because I really value objectivity and thorough reviews.

I know most curling mascaras work for most people, but I find that my lashes are really resistant to many of the curling claims. This is the first mascara that really works to lift my lashes without the use of a lash curler. It surprised me. I normally struggle with a wand that looks like this, but I was surprised that I didn't have any excess mascara where I didn't want it. That's very odd. I'm pretty clumsy with mascara, but this one was easy to use. I totally understand the need for objectivity and through reviews. That's what I'm always shooting for. When something doesn't work for me, I always talk about it. (like Lisa's gel eye liners, great colors but they don't last like the claims say they will) I don't love everything she's created, but I do like most of the brand's offerings. They work well for me. That's why I'm always interested in what the brand releases. I'm always going to be 100% honest about my experience with a product.

It's Lisa. And yes, I want everything, but I'm not a reviewer, and liquid eyeliner is SO HARD. so it sits in my cart until I feel secure enough after watching a few reviews. You are helping. Love of My Life looks beautiful on you. 🩷🐈‍⬛🖤

I get it. Liner is hard for me too. I think I still prefer a brush tip liner, but that only because I've been using one for over a decade and know how to handle them. This one is uber precise, but takes a little longer to dry than what I normally reach for. I'll have to get used to it, but I have high hopes. I would love to have more shades in both the mascara and liner, but black is a great place to start with great formulas. I frequently forget how much I love this lipstick! Thanks.
