A performance of Gershwin's classic, "Summertime," in Yiddish and English, from the concert "Soul To Soul" produced by the National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene. This performance was from February 2024 at the Kauffman Center in Pittsburgh, PA and was presented by Congregation Beth Shalom.
Thank you again to Judith Adelson (aka: Yuditka) and her husband, Seth Adelson (Rabbi at Congregation Beth Shalom), for producing this event and bringing the "Soul to Soul" gang to Pittsburgh!
The band is:
Zalmen Mlotek on piano (as well as Artistic Director of the Folksbiene and Musical Director/Creator/Conductor of Soul to Soul),
Brian Glassman on bass,
Matt Temkin on drums
and Zisl Slepovitch on soprano saxophone.
