I agree completely. I love love LOVE Ego and the first Lisa sketch was incredible, which is why this one let me down. There’s so much potential in Lisa as a character - why put her in the same exact scenario? Put Lisa from Temecula in a rowboat. Send Lisa from Temecula to a baseball game. You KNOW Lisa from Temecula knows how to cause a scene at the airport.

Have you guys never seen recurring SNL sketches? This literally describes all recurring SNL sketches ever. When it's a really good basis, the subsequent ones succeed, and sometimes even become better than the original. When it's not a good basis, it gets old and tired quick. In this case, the original was amazing, and this one succeeds at being a sequel just as well as any other recurring sketch.

a lawyer who does not like smoked salmon????? Never heard of it. ALTHOUGH, and OMG, I was at a Japanese Steak House 6 months ago in Clearwater, Florida, and an older white woman, and younger white woman, both Florida born and raised, ordered a smoked salmon appitizer sushi, and OMG, they actually told the waiter to send it back and cook it; and what is worse, he did, and brought it back to them cooked and all reassembled with the cooked smoked salmon sushi----O.......M.......G!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I re-watched Lisa from Temecula w/Pedro Pascal a dozen times. Showed friends and family. It was lightning in a bottle. I don’t mind the near copy/paste dialogue, but the Sight gag barely works. They needed a killer follow-up prop design to the original. Once all the salad is on the table after 5 seconds, the gag falls apart.

I feel like there is a backstory to Lisa from Temecula - because what is Temecula - but that is part of the charm of this over-the-top bit! Ego never dissappoints and this character is so far flung yet somehow very familiar and even relatable! That just shows the depth of her talent! Bravo everyone! I'm sorry but the first one with Pedro Pascal will always be the best one because its a fresh sketch. Plus, it happened organically as far as the cast breaking character. This one is ok, hopefully when Ego's character Lisa comes back next time & with the right host like Pedro, it might be as funny, if not funnier than the first one.

The writers are going on strike, so this was the last show of the season. Maybe with less money flowing in for drugs, they'll step back and take a hard look at some things before next fall. Some of the dead-weight writers, like the ones who came up with this mess, should def be cut loose.

I like the first sketch much better. but great, GREAT work and humor behind Lisa from Temecula sketches. I love how Bowen cant keep it together during these sketches, I love the hosts cracking up towards the end, I love everything about it I hope to see more of this sketch :D by the way, COOK HER MEAT :D

This just didn’t have the same magic and spontaneity that the sketch with Pedro Pascal had. This one had recycled elements and the delivery just wasn’t there…Ana looked good though😊
