LiSA really knows how to sing with so much emotions.. Even though at times she seems to be just shouting, but she is shouting beautifully while conveying the emotions.. When she sings, you feel the song..

That fry, was almost a tremble. Amazing singer. Gets to the end to realize, yes she is an amazing singer, but she actually was trembling, and crying. LiSA poured her soul out to us, and it hit just as much as the movie itself.

This is the only song I've heard that made me want to hug the singer while she sang. She put so much emotion and her pause at the end shows just how sad she is. And for reason since her husband cheated on her. "Take me to church" from Hozier made me sad but it only really hit once I learned why it spoke so much to him. "Ashes" from Celine Dion also made me think there was more to the story. But this song is something else.

I recommend checking out LiSA and Uru's first take of the song 'Saikai' produced by Ayase Not only do you have LiSA's performance but Uru as a contrast who is just as amazing and a song written by an amazing writer so i definitely recommend that

Got a recommendation for a reaction: ReoNa - Niji no Kanata ni (虹の彼方に) THE FIRST TAKE While not as explosive as LiSa in Gurenge, ReoNa has such a sensitive, soft yet powerful voice. She can put so much emotion into her singing it does remind a lot of Homura^^

Great reaction! I would love a long version reaction/analysis to this if you thought you could do it. I think it is so amazing. So much so I am not even sure how to put it into words. Setting aside how technically brilliant she is, part of it is how she comes into singing a song to be in the song. To be the song. Like you said, she isn't afraid to show her emotions when singing, and she rides them right on the edge where she might even lose control of them. There's a video on YT, one of the two live performances of Angel Beats Ending "Ichiban no Takaramono" where she loses that control (the "Angel Beats! Ending.!" one is amazing, but the "Girls Dead Monster" one she loses it at the end), but doesn't lose the song, amazingly. She's on stage pouring out emotions like that. She was not kidding when she said after Homura that she put all her emotions into it, like she would at a show. It's an amazing. Check it out - the first one. I feel guilty watching the second one, but it perfectly illustrates that she is 100% committed to being inside a song when she sings, and therefore risks the emotions taking control. You have to love someone brave enough to sing that way. Such a beautiful soul. She deserves all the hugs in the world. I put her right up there with the best in the world.

If you liked that you might be interested in this it was an anime anthem for a while when it came out "TK from 凛として時雨 - unravel / THE FIRST TAKE" probably one of the best anime songs to date his voice is unique and the whole performance is really something else

I had seen another vocal coach reaction to both Gurenge and Homura, but no one talked about how she was letting go out her emotions, and those expressions she did here, maybe because they didn't realize it, and nor did I. But that is an important part of the performance, it makes it even more touching. Great video. I'd be great if you could make a reaction of Super Beaver - Hitoride ikiteitanaraba- which is japanese band too, and they' ve done a performance on the First Take too.

I believe the hardships she was talking about was the fact that her husband was cheating on her. It didn't break until about six months after this recording, but I believe she had known about it for a while. So you can imagine how much pain and suffering she put into the song.

Apparently he was infertile and that made their relationship suffer. Also he tried to kill himself after cheating on her. Like wtf if u cheat u just man up and accept the consequences. Suicide is cowardly. If he cant make kids so what? Is that a reason to cheat? There is such thing as adoption. He clearly didnt try hard enough.

Almost right before Lisa did music for Demon Slayer, she was about to retire. The Japanese are all about perfection, and she had one little voice mess-up and was booed by assholes off stage. She was so upset and felt she should retire anyway. Then we're blessed with her lovely voice for the Demon Slayer series. Lisa is amazing and I'm so glad she kept going!

if you want to listen to all of LiSA's extreme in 1 single songs, have a listen to Adamas, you have the speed, the lows, the highs, it's really crazy. Also what's awesome about LiSA, just listen to a live performance and you will understand really fast that she's not an autotune singer, she sound pitch perfect on stage and in studio, even after over an hour on stage.
