You can her melodies strong in hits like *No Scrubs* if you listen carefully. I can tell the grace of her voice added some sweet melodies to the iconic hook. 💯
is this true? i cant find a source crediting her vocals on anything but the rap version, or any song for that matter. i heard that she never did any of the backing vocals and that it was all debra killings. i would love to be corrected if I'm wrong, i love lisa and would love to be able to pick her voice out from the melodies
@@onthe_tlctipshe doesn’t sing backup on TLC songs except on Ohh on the TLC tip. She was going to sing back up on CSC but bc of her being in rehab she couldn’t and on Fanmail she didn’t have enough time with her busy schedule

Left Eye said that she sang as a kid but couldn’t compete with the other female singers out there so that’s why she preferred rapping. I think that was best cuz that’s what made TLC stand out from other girl groups. Left Eye brought the hip hop side with her raps, T-Boz brought the funk with her deep voice and Chilli brought out the r&b with her singing.
If Angels exist, Lisa was definitely one of them. A beauty who had a Vision, a big heart for those in need, beautiful personality. Lisa was everything beautiful in one Package.
