Elvis died with less than $5 million because he spent money faster than he could make it. That's why he made 31 mostly bad movies, because Parker got him a million dollars per movie and a percentage of the profits and the same with Vegas. Many of Elvis' less than brilliant career choices were made for the same reason. He had a girlfriend for five minutes and bought her cars, houses, furs, jewelry. He threw money away like crazy and blew money on all of the leeches and hangers on that he called friends. He got mad at a back up singer who wouldn't accept a ring he offered her because she said his friendship was all she needed and the next night he flung the ring into the audience. That ring cost $30,000 which would $165,000 today. My point is that Elvis was horrible with money so Lisa Marie came by it honestly and Priscilla turned that original $5 million into the massive fortune it is today and if she was foolish with some of it, then she was.
