i feel like a lot of people don't understand the lyrics/sounds are YG. they are not copying BP, its literally the YG sound also the same lyric people say "oh that was in a BP song" is actually a shoutout to YG family and is in many YG group songs.
also BM is already very popular outside of Asia so not sure where you got that from? a lot of people had watched the pre-debut content of BM and were anticipating their debut/what they come out with in the future.
Ateez* is a 4th gen boy group who debuted as the first group made by KQ entertainment in October 24 2018; yet they managed to go to Coachella, become one of the biggest 4th gen boy groups, and become the biggest kpop group under a small company in recent times. Isn’t KQ their entertainment label and the other labels are their distributors? They aren’t MANAGED by RCA label. RCA just distributes their music (I am pretty certain that’s how it works😅) Similar to how UMG, Interscope was doing for Blackpink, but Blackpink isn’t managed by UMG or interscope but by YGE. Same with Lisa now, she isn’t MANAGED by RCA. She has a label partnership with them. This means their main purpose will be to distribute her music across the world while she is MANAGED by her own label LLOUD. Let me know if I am completely off with this…
