Lisa Raye had one of the first reality series about a young 20 something artist and the ups and downs of auditioning with lil sprinkles of her home life, beauty, etc. From the get, they showed how hard she worked (no words to describe her work ethic, I am dead serious). She is someone that should have a bigger career, but she's the type that Hollywood doesn't know what to do with. That's why we need more African Americans behind the scenes, to cast women like her. I met Lisaraye and Bernie in Chicago promoting Players Club. She’s a really nice person, both of them ! She took a picture with me and a few weeks later when I went to get it from the photographer, he said she must have liked it because she kept that one. They made my day!
