Most of these guys look pretty good for their age. Back about 1982-1983, I read an obituary notice of a black man who died at the age of 115. I thought, I bet he had an interesting life. So I read the article, and he said that he and his parents lived in the South. He never went to school, always worked. He said that for the first 105 years of his life, he was very bad--he smoked, he drank, he cussed, he chased women, he played cards. Then at the age of 105, he realized everybody he'd known was gone, how long did he have to live, and what was next? He was reached out to by a concerned person, became a Christian, and since he was too old to go on the mission field or go to Bible school--he'd never learned to read or write--someone suggested he go to adult night school to learn to read so he could read his Bible and pray. He did, and spent the last 10 years of his life as a prayer warrior.

Wow, that is amazing how these people lived so long, and so far, there are still two or three of them who are still living past 112 years of age.
