Listen Linda… Im trying … Planner flip and update 

I use 2 planners. One is an FCC compact that I keep at home that has EVERYTHING in it. The other is a pocket that i take with me everywhere. It contains a yearly,, along with a week on one page for the entire year. I list important dates (appointments,birthdays, planned vacations, etc) on the weeklies so I can schedule follow-up appointments at the doctor's office, or social commitments when I'm out of the house. I also carry post-its and extra lined paper in the pocket, along with a few pieces of deco. I track my blood pressure for my cardiologifst, si i do this in my pocket, because that's the planner that will be with me when i see him. This system has worked for me for 2 years.

I use my pocket as just my on the go - basic calendar and note paper only. I can kep appts and make a quick list if needed. I keep my A5 at home for everything else. I have been happy in this duality for more than 2 yrs because it works for me. You just have to kiss alot of toads until you find your prince. It will be so worth it when you find what makes you happy unless hopping keeps you always interested. Pocket is also good as a catch for travel.

Girl, I have been flip-flopping between pocket and personal for years! I even did A6 for a minute..LOL! Right now I am in personal, but I know EXACTLY what you mean about the pocket. It's so cute, I just want to hold it and look at it.....😂 What I have been doing is enjoying my personal size, the writing space and everything about it, BUT somewhat keeping the pocket up to date so I can grab it and go with if I want to. I feel so ridiculous sometimes because I am SO indecisive about it! 🤣

Maybe if you clip the holes so you can take it out to write without opening the rings? It is adorable! Love the color!

I just went into a passport TN (Moterm Companion). I thought it would be way too small, but honestly, I may have finally found planner peace. I write big too, but now that I no longer have the rings I have more writing space. I have 5 notebooks in the TN which supplies all my needs. The 2 page calendar is awesome too. I LOVE it❤!

I know pocket or pocket plus is cute. But I don’t know why you’d need your everything planner to be that portable. Your natural handwriting is larger (like mine) and I expect it’s more comfortable to plan in a larger planner. And do you really need to have your whole planner with you when you are running errands or going out to dinner? I know it’s nice to have it for comfort but do you honestly use it or need any of that with you? I’m honestly curious. I work in an office everyday and I carry a planner with me and leave my main planner at home bc it’s just too big to lug. But my carry planner doesn’t have everything in it - it’s scaled down. But even that I don’t need to carry with me for errands or dinner with friends. I carry a small cute notebook - passport or pocket or similar. That way I can have a place for notes and lists and ideas and just transfer it to my planner when I get home or get a chance. If I didn’t go into the office daily I’d have my main planner (no carry planner) and I’d have the small passport/pocket for on the go. I don’t want to try to make all my plans and memory keeping etc in something small. It’s not enough space for me and it wouldn’t make me happy. And I don’t need it that small. Just my thoughts of course but I think honestly thinking about what you really need and when is a big piece. And what you need to be portable. Having two different systems for different purpose that work in tandem can be helpful.

I miss watching you plan. I enjoy these videos, but watching you fill stuff out and use your planner was enjoyable.

When I saw the title, at first I thought it was a response video to me, and then I remembered the meme. Ultimately, you have to do what works for you. For me, it's the Jibun Techo Biz. Maybe disc bound would work for you? Mini Happy Planner size is close to personal.

Pockets are definitely cute and I have 2 myself but I can’t use them. B6 and personal wide are my sizes. I fell into that “cute” factor! 🤣

❤ same same. Pocket is so very cute (and I have two lovely Maldens in pocket size), but I Just Can’t Use Them. I think it’s partly my writing is too big for tiny planners ( I failed at passport TN too). Personal is my jam, and that’s that.

Also, southern girl here...living in North Dakota. I've always called a shopping cart a buggy, too....when I would say it, people here would look at me weird..LOL! I find myself now calling it a cart..don't know why...lol🤷‍♀

This has always been my exact dilemma with sizing down. I absolutely love seeing other set ups. I love the functionality in my mind of having a smaller planner with a smaller footprint that’s easier to carry but when it comes down to it, I just can’t make it work for me. I also write too big to feel like I’m comfortable. I’ve played around with the idea of simply having a pocket/passport tn or ring set up simply for on the go sticker storage or washy or just as a quick note, taking while I’m in public, and don’t want to without my big planner, but again i’ve just never been able to set up a pocket or smaller size as my every day carry. It never feels right…

I'm having a similar issue and for me it's a stack reduction thing, We're all working on finding our own version of Planner Peace 😄

On the monthly is there a way to put the “notes” on far left side close to rings? Maybe. Yes it would be altering the layout, however if that’s a simple fix to get u into a planner u like so much is a plus? Make fold outs for smaller one? As far as ur pics n stuff, u could use pics of ur family for the dividers maybe? Or even fold outs for ur pics. if ur not a one planner woman, remove what bothers u n keep what is doable? At the end of the day, find ur joy hun… life is waaayyy too stressful to add to it. I find that if I let things sit n revisit it later, some things just work out but Girl I’m at a loss too lol it is adorable tho lol

Have you ever tried the leuchtterm a6 size with a wallet insert? In the a6, I’ve made a Mo2p monthly and left the rest to make lists and things I needed on the go. I carried a wallet insert and used a pocket sized travelers notebook. The a6 leuchtterm isn’t square. It’s rectangular. I have a few videos on my channel about my pocket planner, but if you’d like I can send you a video on how mine looked. It was amazing for on the go. Moterm has a pocket sized leather too instead of the TN. I made a bullet journal essentially.

I love small things and I love my Moleskine Pocket Daily, but I tried pocket rings and the pages were sooo small (they are smaller than bound pocket). I still want them to work, but I am more comfortable in Personal Rings with FCC inserts.

I don't think I could move over to pocket. I'd be casting down into a well out of sheer frustration!

Cool video! Would a fold-out monthly help (instead of dividing across 2 pages)? When I have a small ringed format like the pocket, I simply don't write on the left side. This offers a clean look to the spread and I can always scrawl quickly on the left if I have to jot something down urgently.

Spring Break - starting with the 2nd snow storm in a week. 😂😂😂 Thankfully, we just aren't traveling, go-go-go types or the weather would be side-lining. Planner wise, I am taking the week off.

I’ve been in a planner funk lately and haven’t touched them in a bit. I think primarily because I have essential tremor and writing has become difficult but refuse to give up. Hi thanks for the video! I need your opinion what is the softest leather binder available? I made a high priced purchase last year for a leather a5 hobo cover and it is sooooo heavy and hard I used it 2023 and put it away ! I need another one but I want soft leather don’t want to make another costly mistake !

why should these beauties bother you? i use one for my smaller bags for notes and my bigger as an EDC. dont worry yourself 😜
