Not quite sure what the journalist was getting at, because it was impossible for her to conduct a proper interview, or ascertain anything of substance from Mr. Adams. However if it's what happened in Crawl, I'd say it's understandable why a jury would find it hard to nuance what is criminal, and what's not when it comes to police misbehavior in Jamaica. I'd guessed that as a result of the current situation as it relates to crime, people are more sympathetic towards law enforcement officers. For some reason I can also understand why he wouldn't want to revisit the situation if that what he suspected that she about to bring up. Regardless if he was wrong, or he was right, I'd believe he's and will forever be haunted by that incident in particular, if for nothing, the age of the people who were killed. I'd believe he has children, and if he's going to make reference to the US, and the controversial killings by police officers, they only appear the same , but in depth different. It is much easier to be unsympathetic to people who doesn't look like you, though from a moral perspective it's wrong, but it is what it is. However, when the people look like you, probably could be related to you, it must have had a different effect on him. In actuality, judging by the ages of the young men, they could have been his children. I deeply believe he's suffering already from the burden of soul affliction regardless of his outward appearance. I'm not saying he's guilty of any wrong doings, because that I dont know, but regardless, wrong or right, it must be burdensome on the deep psyche in the bowels of ones soul when one's involved in anything that causes the loss of a life, regardless the medium and ones position. At the end of the day, a human is still a human, and I'm talking on both sides of the coin.
