Also it's called sunk cost fallacy, addiction, predatory gaming practices, and various other things companies uss to get in your wallet. Now companies make profit, that's not the problem, notice how I said genshin specifically and not star rail or honkai impact. It's because genshin devs specifically hate their players. I mean, they genuinely hate their players and only see them as cash. If they didn't, spiral abyss wouldn't get more atrocious every patch, they'd give an actual anniversary, they'd swap MC's from trailer to trailer, they'd increase stamina for exploration, they'd impliment star rails take on resin, they could do a lot of things and still make the exact same money they make now. They don't though. They know addicted idiots will keep buying their stuff and thaf they can do the bare minimum and people will defend them.

Again, companies like activation, EA, Uber soft and etc… been doing the same shit for years lol literally making shit games and stealing peoples money, an mocking them when they voiced there anger or frustration sooooo….least genshin dosnt mock u or listens later down the line. Played both star rail and honikai and I was almost immediately bored to death, Star rail is just auto play, and honikai is…just button smash. So u see, it’s easy to criticize all 3 games and shit on them, but I choose to respect others and say all 3 games are equally good. But one thing is for sure, mihoyo community is actual garbage lol god damn honikai players with there supremely complex lol

​@@Zwei22 The open world is pretty nice, the animation quality is still peak, and the Fontaine arc was a massive step in the right direction, though I agree that there are still deliberate choices that could be made to improve the game without costing a penny. However, the "sunk cost fallacy, addiction, predatory gaming practices" and "addicted idiots" isn't a Genshin exclusive problem. Far from it. The Honkai games just don't have as bad of a rep because they have older, smaller player bases that fork out more cash per person, ergo, less free to play kids. I know I have many grievences with Genshin Impact and I love me some Honkai but as a level 88 Red Lotus Captain and a level 70 Trailblazer, I'm going to have to ask you to sit down, son, because this point doesn't hold water. I was there when the excessive anxiety interview was first released and I was one of the first to express my disapproval before it became cool to hate on Genshin but it sounds to me like you're just parroting what some content creators are saying. If Genshin devs "genuinely hate their players and only see them as cash" then the same must be said for literally every other Gacha game who serves their specific market to maximize profits.
