I wouldn’t say the possibility is too small. Pretty much anything Welt says makes it seem like he’s the same character in both games. My guess is that he falls into the Sea of Quanta and then ends up in the bubble universe that we the players call “Honkai: Star Rail.” Something that further support that theory: the starting point of the game (the area where you start as Kafka) has a stagnant shadow named “Shape of Quanta.”

@@glistica well, In fact, several character theme songs from HI3rd come from GGZ which were remakes or remixes. Example : - Tsumi no Tenshi/Angel of Sin > Cyberangel - Houkai Sekai no Utahime/World end Diva (still the same but remixed) - Hoshi to Kimi ga Kieta Hi/The Day You and the Star Dissapear (Teresha theme on GGZ, while on HI3rd it is airing during the Kongming event) and some more
