Damn... I watched this game against the Packers. Heck, I was born in 1957... which was the last year the Lions won a ring. Still waiting (patiently) all these years. I was always Charlie Sanders when we played football in the front yard (the backyard had poop/pee in it from our dog). God, I miss Billy Sims, Barry Sanders, and Greg Landry.

For all the criticism that Detroit Quarterbacks have taken over the years, it's watching clips like this that remind us that there are teams that would kill for a Danielson, Hipple, Peete or Kramer right now.

What a great time capsule! Watched hundreds of hours of NFL Films. Remember the crowd shots from the 50's and 60's? It is fascinating with the cool hats, suit and ties, ladies in skirts (did you catch the shot of Lion Cheerleaders in high school flouncy skirts?). These crowd shots had a lot of sweaters. puffy vests. Preppies? So cool! Was that Forrest farkin Gregg as GB coach? Dude was already a fossil in 1984. Was he channeling Ahmanhohtept the Third for play calling? Ha, ha!!! Click bait on the Madden call. It was just Pat giving down and distance!
