Alan Nguyen just like you don’t really need to know some basic historical and political knowledge, as long as they protest in the name of “ democracy “ , all western media will spread fake news to support them. Idiot.
Really, I am idiot? I don’t give a shit about the western media, or the real reason why they are protesting. They have the right to speak up for what they are believing. It is the basic human right.Demonizing them or attacking others who support will increase more support for them, not less. The whole world knows the history and the practices of CCP. You can play dumb and insult me all you want. Every insulting word you speak only add hundreds or even thousands supporters to this movement. I am proudly to say I stand with HongKong.
@@alannguyen1193 Alan Nguyen can you explain to me what human right is? Causing harm to innocent mainland Chinese people in hk you also cause harm to HK civilians is a way to increase support, then yes you are a idiot. How dare they ask for democracy when they don't even give others democracy, how dare they ask for freedom when they don't even give others freedom, shame to HK.
Yh make the world admire these people. they're fighting for HK by destroying hk. Well done, keep up the hard work, make the civilians suffer more, take away more civilians' home, democracy, freedom and lives.
@@tk-og2bm The civilians are suffering from the one of the two factions in Hong Kong - One of them are the rioters who are destroying Hong Kong's rule and order, and the other are the protesters who have the support of the people, as proven by the results of the district elections. www.ft.com/content/193a673a-0f15-11ea-a7e6-62bf4f9e548a

《GLORY BE TO HONG KONG》Lyrics For the tears that we shed on this soil For the anguish we had in this turmoil We keep our heads up, our voices strong May freedom root in Hong Kong For the fear that looms overhead For the hope that moves us ahead We march in blood, our martyrs along May freedom glow in Hong Kong Deepest night we shall not be in fright In the mist, a new day breaks with chants and light Stand with us, with virtuous minds and unbending spines The pearl we hold will always shine Come children of our motherland The time has come to wage a revolution Freedom and liberty belong to this land May glory be to Hong Kong
The tears are shed by the ancestors, and 'protesters' (riots as I would call them) are destroying the home their ancestors have built, who gave these protesters the right to destroy it, do you think that all the buildings and roads came from nothing. Distinguishing, foolish, arrogant hypocrites.
@@tk-og2bm Still it's better to live the liberated life than a enslaved proletarian as what those mainland men are in now. Hong Kong people are now fighting against the brutality of their past government, and if you deny their act, it just proves you are the one who is arrogant, rejects the idea of revolution.
Strong? What do they have to be strong? a destroyed metro station, damaged streets, harmed civilians, broken families, not thinking before action? Shame.

hello happy seriously? why not ask them in a referendum if they really want to become part of the totalitarian evil forced organs harvesters murderers to the millions China Communist Party Dictatorship!

I'm so sorry Hong Kong. The U.S. is not going to help. 90% of Americans are not even paying attention. Our leaders are not paying attention. Most media is not reporting your story. Your plea for help breaks my heart. Thank you TIME for keeping a light on this tragic story.
Yes @@Chemicalkinetics, I forgot to mention that I understand that we can't liberate Hong Kong, but if our media would cover the story, violence from mainland China would be much less likely. I fear that this is going to get very serious very soon. I just wish TV media and politicians would pay attention.
@CJ Giordano My only intent here is to support and focus on Hong Kong, but if you compare the number of comments on this story with the number of comments on "Sharpie-gate" or "Foreigners Eat American Snacks" it says a lot. However, I'm truly happy that you and your friends are paying attention. -Peace.
The Eng lyrics should be supplemented in other comments. For your reference please. And, well, you may see some brainwashed and creativeless “Object”s with pointless reason in Hong Kong or just around the corner.
What does the Chinese government expect? Hong Kong was a British colony for almost a 100 years. Under the Union Jack they had freedom of religion , freedom of expression, freedom of the press, and freedom of assembly. That sweet taste of Western freedom does not leave one's mouth easily. It has been over 20 years since the Brits left Hong Kong and to this day many Hong Kongers want to go back the British. Can you blame them?
@@charlesyam804 "out of poverty"? It created poverty , and a famine that killed tens of millions of Chinese people. The Chinese, without the Communists, in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Singapore are far wealthier today. The mainland Chinese would've been equally well off without the Communist thugs. Go get your fifty cents and scram.
I moved from HK to Canada when I was a child. Although I am not a true HongKonger, I have challenges in life. True freedom and eternal life come from Jesus.

Should have this as HK official National Anthem long time ago, instead of continued to sing the crappy Chinese version after the hand over which brought so much disgrace to local Canto. population and their past glorious city image.
Do you know what disgrace is, disgrace is when HK people are waving UK and US flags in the air, disgrace is when HK people are harming HK people, disgrace is when HK people are destroying HK that their ancestors have built.
i hope next time they put lyrics on this video of this song so that other nations may understand the meaning of this song, you may put caption. This is My Suggestions only. I support democracy, freedom of Hongkong -from Philippines
I think the lyrics are saying "we had a dictatorship with represive Englad and we shut our mouth Mainland gave us autonomy We didn't have balls against England But we feel brave against China because they don't beat us up like english did"

July 5, 2009 in Xinjiang China, Urumqi to be exact, what was to be massive unrest began something like that in Hong Kong began. Groups of young people gradually amassed in early evening and began to grow and grow militant and abusive, leading to violence criminally mis-reported by Western media. Today Hong Kong is in a similar, but worse, position, given HK's financial importance to Asia and the world in general. The obvious beneficiary of this violence and unrest is so-called Democracy, i.e., London and Washington who, characteristically, are gleeful for this happening. In 2009 the beneficiary was also Washington, as the intent of CIA in Xinjiang at that time was recruitment of fighters to go to Syria, and Afghanistan. No one in Washington admits it or even seems aware of it but the number of fighters from Xinjiang in and around Syria is noticeable; the stream of fighters from Xinjiang seems lessened only by Chinese efforts to eradicate terrorism from Xinjiang. The West continues to demonize China's efforts as -- you guessed it -- repression, devoting much money and ink, aka propaganda, to demonizing yet another Chinese effort to protect itself from Western efforts at sabotage of the Chinese economic machine. Xinjiang is a long way from Syria, how did those fighters get to Syria, who fed and housed them and armed them. The children of Hong Kong ideologically are a long way from the beliefs of their families, who is feeding them daily, who is giving them bus money or subway money, who gives them gas masks etc.? Sensationalism aside, these are questions that deserve honest answers. This method of changing the world to christianity and democracy is nothing short of fucking crazy and insane. WE SHOULD BE ASKING WHAT CAN BE DONE TO MAKE THE WORLD SAFE FROM CHRISTIANITY AND DEMOCRACY?
